The staff & the feed downstairs was great.
Room was smaller than I expected.

The staff we’re all very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms and share bathrooms were very clean and comfortable.
It was a bit loud with the music from the bar below but it was a busy Saturday night. It didn’t bother us too much though.

The access to the top floor was difficult, as there’s no lifts available.
The bedroom was small & bed was uncomfortable & small.

There is nothing I didn't like, I know there is nothing you can do about this but the floor in my room and next door was really creaky, what comes with an old building, I minor thing, but everything was great.
The location to the RSL and submarines. Certain staff members were lovely to deal with. The lights on the balcony were great when walking to the shared toilet at night. They did move us to another room after an issue happened with the door lock and it was a bit more spacious.
Be careful with the door locks, don't snib lock as the key won't unlock it from the outside, you won't be able to get back into your room. Just pull it shut.
Some of the bar staff need an attitude adjustment.
The first room we had was very squishy and the area between the door and the single bed was difficult to navigate around. The heater in this particular room didn't work.
Lovely old country pub. Good food, cold beer, comfy bed. Couldn't ask for anything more at the price!

The beds were really comfortable and the pillows and linen top quality. We had a lovely meal which was value for money. The bathrooms were very clean. We booked the family room which was very cosy and our grandkids had a ball. We decided late that we would stay for the night and were just passing through to take our grandkids home. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it if you wanted to have a comfortable goodnights sleep.
Perhaps not having to order dinner from the bar.
