Relaxing break at the lake with a lovely view enhanced by the beautiful weather.
Pros:

Lovely view. 2 chairs in the room. Excellent breakfast with good choices. Evening meal was disappointing.

Cons:

Extractor fan was faulty and noisy. The steam room in spa was unserviceable and closed.

A perfect break in a perfect hotel - we will be back!
Pros:

We could not fault anything about Lakeside. It was a last minute decision to go after several difficult months. The hotel was wonderful! Staff were so welcoming and helpful, the location was perfect. Our room overlooked the Windermere, was extremely comfortable, roomy and immaculate. Every evening we ended the day sitting on the edge of Windermere watching the wild birds, listening to the wonderful silence with a glass of wine - perfection. The food was excellent - in particular breakfast, with so much choice, both hot and cold and cooked to perfection. it was just perfect - thank you.

Cons:

Our visit and the hotel could not have been improved upon - it was a perfect few days and we loved it all!
