Relaxing enjoyable stay
Pros:

Hotel was very smart . Modern Clean as you would expect. Staff was friendly and efficient. facilities were excellent. Food was very good but slightly overpriced. Service charge not necessary

Great location, fantastic facilities, food was excellent and the room was comfortable and clean.

Cons:

In general staff appear to be lacking in customer relations and motivation as many appear to be very unhappy in their place of work and in my personal experience the attitude was cold and at times outright rude.
Although the accommodation it’s self was fantastic, the service you receive can make or break a stay.

Amazing stay but staff to improve

Beautiful location and clean hotel.

Cons:

The hotel and overall experience were very enjoyable, but there is room for improvement when it comes to customer service. The staff could be more welcoming, attentive, smile a bit more and approachable. While ordering food, one staff member appeared to ignore me while cleaning the food truck, then proceed to place my order while appearing a bit annoyed, which came across as rude and unprofessional.

We also experienced an issue with our room key card. The reception had us going back and forth before it was finally confirmed that the key card was not working. Unfortunately, there was no real apology for the inconvenience, only a brief acknowledgement.

With a friendlier attitude, better customer engagement, and a more proactive approach to resolving guest issues, this would have been a perfect experience.

Pros:

staff were incredible. Tom and Max in the bar were great and the brasserie manager from Rochdale was lovely. The food was wonderful. The view was spectacular. The room, even though it was a cosy double, was a good size. The bathroom was clean, a little bit dated but very very clean. Just a lovely lovely place to stay and very good value.

Pros:

Excellent hotel in a superb location. Lovely lake views from from our room and from the hotel terrace. Excellent food and service in both restaurants. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.
Lots of parking.

Cons:

Nothing - everything was great.

Pros:

Had to make a last minute booking after a 40 hour journey from Australia. Harry the Operations Manager could not have been more accommodating. He was very helpful and made us feel welcome.

Had a fabulous stay and will be back.

Helpful staff, beautiful setting, lovely food and a lovely room

Cons:

Dressing table mirror was a bit too high on the wall so I couldn’t see when I sat down - had to use extra cushions.
