Left feeling completely relaxed. Would definately return.

Super facilities and staff wonderful - nothing was too much trouble.

An excellent stay with friendly and helpful staff,
Pros:

Location was superb and the hotel well appointed, one particular waiter was very knowledgeable of local events and helpful

Cons:

The chairs in the Room were very low, this did not allow to sit and see lake views or even when using mirror for makeup unless covering forehead, and I'm 6ft 1inch

A memerable stay hotel and Lakes.

It was a trial run for a family event I am organising in June - I am looking forward to returning

Cons:

One very small thing - please provide soap for those people who want to have a bath but don't have arms as long as orangutangs to reach the soap meant for those who like to shower

Lovely hotel & spa but disappointed by the restaurants
Pros:

The room was lovely and big with a fabulous view over the lake. Very large bathroom, walk in wardrobe and dressing table. We would definitely come and stay just for the view alone. They also acknowledged that it was our wedding anniversary on a couple of occasions which was a nice touch. The spa was nice and relaxing with lovely views, we didn’t have any treatments but will do next time.

Cons:

I thought the food in the brasserie was over priced and breakfast wasn’t great. For breakfast I ordered smoked haddock, the piece of haddock was tiny the egg had zero flavour (the same with my wife’s egg). The pot of creme fraiche looked huge compared with the rest on the plate. This was in the Lakeview Restaurant so not hopeful that the evening would be any better. Felt the waiting staff to be quite stern in both restaurants.

Really enjoyed our stay and we will continue to come to this hotel.
Pros:

We have stayed here several times over the last few years and I would say this time there has been a significant upgrade in our experience. The service was so much better, the pool warmer and cleaner with plenty towels, breakfast so much better and quicker, rooms beautiful and ice cream cart open. The little letter hunt for my granddaughter was fun too.

Cons:

There was a discrepancy around a sur charge on the bill which I had tried to sort out through email prior to my visit without success but was picked up by the member of staff who handed me the final bill and so was taken off. So all good and thanks to him for being vigilant.

Fantastic and amazing place to relax and unwind

It was a lovely hotel, peaceful, relaxing and the food was amazing the hotel facilities have been modernised with elegance of British heritage
