Everything in one place with wildlife and walks around if required

Lovely break
Pros:

Location and most of the staff very friendly and helpful

Cons:

Two lady Reception afternoon of 6th Oct where VERY unhelpful (Stating Room had not been paid when it had). Not even explaining where breakfast was. VERY VERY Unwelcoming!
Thankfully all the other staff where lovely !!!

Relaxing and peaceful lake stay
Pros:

Set in a rural location with gorgeous view but also the steam train and steam boat dock was a short walk near by

Picturesque but isolated location. Great pool allowing children, great breakfast & helpful staff

Cons:

The rooms on the rear of the hotel do appear to be affected by an overnight humming noise possibly a pump or generator of some sort. If you're light sleepers as we are, this does not allow a good nights sleep.

Fabulous
Pros:

The breakfast was fantastic, the view from the hotel is so beautiful. Very clean all around,Just a perfect place to relax if you need to get away for peace and quiet.

Overall it is a wonderful hotel in a spectacular location to which we look forward to returning.
Pros:

Very impressed with the Brasserie Early Dining option. The food, staff and value for money were all excellent. Breakfast taken in the conservatory was very enjoyable with the added attraction of the view over the "lake".

Cons:

We were less impressed with the lack of any bathrobes in the room. As we wanted to go for a swim, we went to reception and were informed that due to guests stealing towels, they were no longer left in the rooms and they would deliver some to our room, which they were. The Spa and pool looked great but the "hot tub" was colder than the pool and only stayed on for a minute. The gents changing room was flooded. There was no mention of nature’s pool, which I would have liked to try
