Dissapointed.
Pros:

The staff and the location were great! The breakfast was nice. When we needed to change a room , it was done smoothly and easily.

Cons:

The first room we walked into was stinky from sewage issue. We asked to replace the room, and it was done right away. the new room was a little better, but still, the bathroom was smelly, and with no window nor vent. The room was a little better after we opened the windows. The level of cleanness needs an improvement. The bed was literally what broke the camel's back. The most hard uncomfortable bed, I've ever experience. I was up all night. I guess if you're young and healthy it's not an issue. The pictures on the website are deceiving!

Lovely Little Jewel
Pros:

The staff was wonderfully friendly, helpful and caring. Belmonte is remote, and this is a jewel.

Cons:

It would help if, when booking, a note would be made that if visitors were coming by bus they should arrange through the hotel to have a taxi pick them up at the bus stop, as in the middle of the day there is no one around to help and it is a.very difficult walk (impossible for some), and no way to call.

Perfect hotel for touring Bellmonte
Pros:

We were so happy that the restaurant offered us meals that met with our dietary needs. The chef came out personally to confirm our needs and assure us that the kitchen could do as we needed.

Cons:

Bigger elevator! Large Americans and luggage do not mix with Europeans and small elevators!

A very special stay in Belmonte
Pros:

Lovely little town, beautiful hotel, very friendly staff. Spacious, clean, light room with a balcony and a stunning view of the plain and the mountains. Convenient: Restaurant in the hotel, delicious food, large windows for a panoramic view

Nice room but needs a bar fridge. Restaurant not good. Poor cleaning service
Pros:

The rooms were good size and well appointed

Cons:

Cleaning staff did not refresh toilet paper. We were out all day and returned later at night. We noticed in the middle of the night the scant amount of toilet paper had run out. I had to rummage through my purse in the middle of the night to find some tissue. The next morning we had to go to front desk and request tp. No apology. Nothing. Unacceptable
