Redelijk ok maar we kiezen volgende keer toch zeker een ander hotel
Pros:

Top ligging, op korte wandelafstand van de haven met veel horeca.

Cons:

Vriendelijkheid van sommige personeelsleden. Je voelt je niet bij elke medewerker als 'klant is koning'.
Het ontbijt is ok maar kan beter. Roerei of spiegelei kan maar moet je vragen. Keuze beleg is heel beperkt. Vers fruitsap dien je zelf te persen met een kleine keukenpers zoals thuis.
Bij aankomst grote groep luidruchtige Engelsen aan het zwembad. Veel drank en lawaai, hadden hun eigen muziek op staan terwijl er aan de bar ook muziek speelde. Dit alles was niet uitnodigend, integendeel. We kunnen iets hebben maar dit was er over.

Really clean hotel with friendly staff in a great area of Vilamoura
Pros:

The hotel is very well maintained, the pool is really nice and pool beds very comfortable too with a nice bar. It is in a great location, walking distance to the marina. The rooms were cleaned daily, very good aircon and smart TV in the rooms. Bathrooms a bit outdated but shower worked fine etc. Beds were large and comfortable and the staff so friendly.

Cons:

Grass at the pool gives a home for insects.

Best stevig geprijsd voor 3 sterren comfort
Pros:

Rustig gelegen met parkeerplek. Fijne tuin met zwembad en faciliteiten.Op 10 minuten lopen van het strand en nog minder naar het levendige havenkwartier.

Cons:

De kamer was klein, het balkon keek uit op de parkeerplaats en het bed smal en erg stevig. Ontbijt vrij eenvoudig. Het prijsniveau aan de Algarve ligt hoog. Op andere plaatsen in Portugal hebben we 5 sterren voor ditzelfde tarief.

Fab location and home away from home at Hotel Praia Sol
Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Praia Sol last week (9 family members) as we were attending a wedding in Vilamoura. Our stay here was thoroughly enjoyable, staff were extremely friendly and polite, the hotel was spotless, the location is excellent (only a short walk to the beach and the Marina). The buffet breakfast was gorgeous and on our second morning the staff set up a large family table for us all, which was a lovely touch. The swimming pool and outdoor area is also lovely and quiet and the little bar/cafe there does great toasties! Would definitely recommend this hotel, great value for money.

Cons:

A walk-in shower would be preferable to the shower over the bath, just thinking of elderly visitors.
