very cool old building
Pros:

charming old building with friendly staff in a great location. cool old elevator with manual metal doors. great views from the roof. loved this place.

Cons:

the plaza in the back had very loud people in the wee hours of the morning a couple of nights. maybe it was just bad luck. still plan to stay here again though.

Prédio classico, mas com recepcionista mal humorada
Pros:

O prédio é parte de Montevidéu e, em 2027, completará 100 anos de construção e de atividade como hotel. A arquitetura é belíssima e está em bom estado de conservação. Maria, responsável pelo nosso check-in, nos deu dicas sobre a cidade e foi uma querida conosco.

Cons:

Uma das recepcionistas do hotel, que estava lá à noite do dia 7 de março, foi muito desagradável conosco. Quando fomos recebidos na manhã do mesmo dia, não recebemos a informação de que deveríamos deixar a chave na recepção toda vez que fôssemos sair do prédio. No entanto, a recepcionista da noite, de quem não sabemos o nome, nos viu saindo do hotel ao final da tarde e não nos informou disso e, ao voltarmos à noite, veio nos chamar a atenção, acusando-nos de termos feito isso de propósito. Avisamos que a informação não nos foi fornecida no momento do check-in e ela duvidou de nós, claramente debochando da nossa cara, na frente de outros hóspedes. Foi bem constrangedor. Tínhamos tido um belo primeiro dia em Montevidéu e esta funcionária fez com que acabássemos estressados. Ainda bem que não a vi mais pelo resto dos dias de estadia.
