I stayed 9 days here with my family. We felt home from the check in and enjoyed every single moment of our magnificent stay. Aufgass in the SPA were a spectacle I tried to attend almost every day, my wife was hooked by the ypga class and Forrest Bath with Daniela, the gym had excellent equipment, and the food quality, preparation, and variety was probably the best we ever had.
It is clear that the Winkler family has something special.
We want to thank each and all the fantastic staff, especially Lidia, Astrid, Michaela & Valentina of the KidsClub that gave joy to my daughter every day and Gerhard at the restaurant, an incredibly gentle and passionate man that we won't forget (and Silvia for her wonderful smiles !).

Winkler is a fantastic hotel. When you first step inside, you are given a very friendly welcome, really nothing is too much. The staffmenbers are super friendly and are always there for you. All this in an ambience that exudes luxury and serenity. The atmosphere in our room (love suite) is truly phenomenal. During breakfast, lunch and dinner the most delicious dishes are served always with a big smile. There is of course a delicious wine list. The spa is icing on the cake. The saunamasters provide GREAT infusions. This is a real experience.
In the unlikely event of a misunderstanding, they do not run away from responsibility but provide a more than appropriate solution. All this sets Winkler apart and makes it a hotel we will definitely return to.

This is one of the best holidays I have ever experienced. Before coming, there was good communication where the shuttle will pick us up. After checking in we were able to have a late afternoon snack and the welcome drink was a lovely touch. Our room is large with a beautiful view of the snow capped mountains. I was instantly put into holiday mode because of the vibe and ambiance of the hotel. All the meals we’ve had were delicious, meticulously prepared, and nutritious. We were with a toddler and they were happy to provide cow’s milk without additional costs. They even provided a crib and nappy pail in the room. The heated pool was so relaxing. There is a play area (Winki World) for kids and my toddler enjoyed it immensely visiting it almost everyday. They host activities such as cookie making. There is something for everyone we didn’t get bored at all. Some nights there was live music at the bar. We felt truly relaxed and enjoyed our holiday immensely. We truly collected a lot of ‘Wow’ moments. 😉 thank you, Winkler Hotel! We hope to be back again soon.

This was the first time for us, as we wanted to switch the ski areas. We found the hotel to be top notch, it's clean, has an extraordinary staff and is quite close to the slopes. Normally we would prefer to be closer but this location is very quiet. You won't notice the short travel by shuttle (every few minutes) to the slopes. There is a great spa and two pool areas. The one on the top is a little too cold once you exit the pool and has no sauna close (one sauna on top would make it more attractive).
The food is very good as well, we liked the fish and sushi evenings, but the chef is creative yet down to earth with the dishes he makes. The wine list could be better, too many expensive choices, but you do have some reasonable options too. Despite being a 5 stars, I'd like to see the tap water being free at the bar, a 3 Eur per bottle is a little too much. Not referring to the bottled one, tap water in this area is 'magnifique'. Another suggestion is to provide some training sessions in English to the staff. Since many visitors speak English it gets kind of weird... plus, the staff would benefit from learning even basic English terms.

Hotel Winkler Sport & Spa Resort has become our annual holiday destination – we've stayed here nine times. Our very first visit was back in February 2014, when the hotel was a humble 3-star property among many in the region.
From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff, spacious and impeccably clean rooms, and delicious food made a lasting impression. We also appreciated the variety of activities for children, the convenient shuttle to Kronplatz, and the excellent pools and saunas. There was simply no doubt about where our next ski holiday would be spent.
Over the years, Hotel Winkler has evolved into a luxurious 5-star haven. The complex now features a new building, additional pools and saunas, and a broader range of services, all while retaining the warm and welcoming spirit we fell in love with on our very first stay.
Throughout the years, the hotel owners have been deeply involved in every detail, creating an environment where the entire staff truly feels like one big family.
Many familiar faces still greet us – a testament to the lasting relationships built here.
Even as our children have grown up, they continue to join us at this special place.
All in all, Hotel Winkler is more like coming home. The comfortable rooms, tasty meals, and down-to-earth, family vibe made our stay feel effortless and genuine—we can’t wait to come back.

Everything was actually perfect. Staff do a great job of keeping everything in place and detailed.

We stumbled upon this holiday playground and discovered a real wonderland resort. Can spend whole days at the SPA and pools. Only stayed for two nights and left with a feeling there was so much more we would like to have done. Above all, the Winkler is professional to the teeth. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Winkler Hotel. The breakfast buffet was great, we especially loved the fresh fruit selection & juice machine to make your own veggie juice. The 5 course dinners are also lovely, and the dessert buffet on Saturday was amazing!!

The staff in the restaurant and behind the reception are very friendly and helpful at all times. We also loved the activities offered and the sauna's/infrared light area etc. Which makes the hotel perfect for being outdoor in nature + relaxing time after.

The warm sky pool is amazing, even with colder weather.

Servizio sicuramente migliorabile per il tipo di struttura in particolare nel ristorante. Per accedere alle stanze che danno sul giardino è presente una zona con muffa sul muro con acqua che cola dal soffitto. Sicuramente si trova di meglio in zona allo stesso prezzo. Per il resto belle piscine in particolare quella sul tetto con vista sulla vallata. Peccato perché la struttura di per se sarebbe molto bella, manca una gestione attenta, sembra che ognuno si autogestisca senza una regia.

Was a great experience staying at the winkles sport and spa resort. Even though it is secluded the place has an array of activities to do that will always keep you busy. The hotel gym is well equipped. There is also gaming and a climbing wall. I was pleased to see they also provide cigars and an array of other items that would be difficult to find. The sky pool in the evening is lovely, and the activities they provide and suggest are great. When booking horse riding though it seems you have to go through a lesson first before being able to go on a nature ride which was a little disappointing as it was our last day and only chance to book the horse riding. Therefore only did a lesson and never got to do a nature ride, which was heavily anticipated. There is a variety of food available from the buffet, especially if you're vegan or vegetarian. However, if you don't have a pallet for vegetarian foods and don't eat pork it might sometimes be difficult to find something in-between. All in all I would recommend and looking forward to revisiting to take advantage of the activities. Also everyone is very friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. Very down to earth.
They assign each room their own dining table which I thought very useful, and dinner was included in our stay which was lovely. there are also restaurants nearby in the neighbouring villages

The restaurant and staff were absolutely lovely, the food excellent and service perfect. The hike was also amazing.
