Receptionist and colleague kind and well intentioned. Sky bar staff helpful.

THERE IS A CLUB IN THE BASEMENT FLOOR, meaning you hear very bass-y music ALL night. The hotel is in a death spiral (few customers because it is a bad hotel and so no money to restore the building and so on and so forth): it clearly has management and owners who don’t care about adequate training for their staff, nor for refurbishing the building (dirty corridors that could be cleaned with a 1 minute hoover, showers that entirely misfunction and that flood throughout the room (no joke). Overall, this hotel is clearly very poorly managed and its ownership are to blame, not its staff. In sum, DON’T make my mistake of staying here. Instead, the Barceló hotel is around the corner and much more comfortable, welcoming, and CHEAPER!
