Checked in and due to cyclone my hubby couldn’t fly back from site up north so I attended my friends 50th birthday where we were all staying in the room by myself. The lovely check in girl changed my floor to be close to my friends so they got me safely to and from our outings. She was so amazing and helpful which made me feel much better without my hubby. Room was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed my stay our dinner at Atrium, breakfast at Epicurean drinks at the bars around the crown and a little win at casino.
Loved it all Thankyou
I was told I would get a complentry bottle of champagne but it never arrived in the room though

Location
Price charged for a view overlooking buildings😐
Deluxe room and paying an exorbitant amount for it
A rip off!
Proximity to the airport and comfort it provided
The room (once we were in a better room) was great.
Kids loved the pool - the two the were allowed in.
Parking was a bit of an issue for us.
We paid for vallet for the first night - we were then informed that we could actually park for free, leaving the car in the casino car park - but had to walk 15 mins get to the car on grass, no path provided. Great with kids.
I booked months in advance and asked for city side view (the whole reason we booked this hotel) we were told they were fully booked on arrival and we had room on second level facing a wall and AC units with spotlights facing into our room. I had to go and ask for a different room - flew in from NSW and paid +$2,500 for a room facing a wall - no thanks. Not what I booked. The Second Lady I spoke to could help us with changing our room after the first night
