Very welcoming Reception and always helpful. Must single out Bianca who was so very kind.
We asked if possible for a walk in shower and got a disabled apartment on the Ground Floor. We had a wet room which was perfect for me suffering severe arthritis. Got to say that the shower gel had a really lovely fragrance..
Two single beds which were a bit softer to what we are used to but still slept well. Lots of wardrobe and shelf space. Two settees in lounge area. Hob and fridge. All very clean.
Breakfast was ok. Good choice of cereal and home made (I think) plain and flavoured yoghurts . Fresh fruit. Artisan breads. Typical streaky bacon and mostly chorizo style sausages. Lovely big hash browns. Scrambled, hard boiled and fried eggs. Orange juice was weak but I really liked the chilled water with lemons in and one with oranges in. Staff were always pleasant and quick to clear tables.
The pool area was very clean with lots of sunbeds. The only problem being the beautiful big trees around the area meant you were often in the shade but with plenty of sunbeds, you could move.
Snacks from 1100-1700. Burgers and pizza, bread cakes, bit of salad, bit of fresh fruit, chips or wedges but wasn’t always hot.
Lunch was lots of salad items including sweetcorn and tuna. Always lovely little squares of tasty pizza. Couple of meat dishes, potatoes, chips and different veg. Show cooking was usually a fish and one or two meats but they had already been cooked and put in a dish to keep warm so were a bit dry. What a shame! For all inclusive diners red, white and rosé chilled wine on draught. Mini cakes or gateaux and some fresh fruit.
Evening meal was very much the same. Lots of cheeses but no idea what they were and no biscuits to have with them as an alternative to cake.
Not always signs on the foods to say what was veggie option which upset one or two people..
Bar drinks were Bombay Dry gin, Ron Bacardi etc. Estrella beer in small glasses and the fake Baileys was tasty. Very friendly staff especially Patricia. I quite liked the idea of charging €1 for plastic cups to make sure they were brought back to the bar to get the €1 back rather than them be littered around the pool area.
Evening entertainment was hit and miss and sometimes just music. Best night was the Wii fit bowling but that was probably because of the people involved. Friday night was a singer who never arrived. There were quizzes but my hubby is hard of hearing and struggled to understand what the rep was saying. A game of bingo had us arguing over what number had just been shouted out.
Lovely rooms, lovely staff. Just needs one or two tweaks to make it a good 4*
The hotel was nice and big, very clean.
Beds were very comfy.
Having the supermarket attached to hotel was a bonus, although it wasn’t the cheapest.
Also Nice and quiet :)
Reception staff and bar staff could off been a bit more pleasant, very abrupt and not very forth coming with advice.
Lack of communication between reception staff also.
Stuff, room, location, great food

Čistota, cena, lokalita
Nic co bych vytknul, maximálně při vaření nám chyběla pánvička a hrnec, jinak spokojenost
We came at the end of September for two weeks. Overall we hade a really nice and relaxing time. As other reviews have mentioned, the rooms are quite dated and in need of an uplift, particularly the bathrooms. Although fully functional and of a good size they are a little dark and most metalwork somewhat tarnished. The infra red bathroom heaters were not functioning and I suspect that the hotel deemed it warm enough to assume they were not required. However, Sept/Oct mornings and evenings are a bit fresh!
We had a studio which was worth the extra cost as it gave us plenty of room to sit and relax away from the bedroom.
The tv in the ‘lounge’ area has only one English language Chanel, BBC world news. All other Chanel's are Spanish and German.
If self catering or half board etc., the kitchen area is well equipped but any extra requirements can be obtained from reception.
The bedroom has two 3’ beds side by side to form a double. The decor was somewhat unconventional in that the pictures were of sketches of naked women (also in the lounge/2nd bedroom)!
Plenty of hanging space and drawers.
Although Jet2 suggested there was no daytime or evening entertainment there actually was. Some provided by the in-house team and others by visiting acts.
The pools were well kept and there were plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The indoor pool was beautifully warm and the sauna and steam room were fully functional, as was the gym/fitness room. The Spa offered manicures and massages etc. as required.
The lounge bar was spacious and service was prompt. All inclusive drinks were a little disappointing. Ok, they were premium brands of spirits but limited to gin, whisky and vodka. Cocktails were pre-mixed. Anything off the list cost about €12. There was no option for all inclusive visitors to pay a little more to upgrade a drink. For example, cava was included, but to have a kir royal I.e. add a drop of cassis liqueur was not possible. But if you paid, it was €12. When queried, I was told it was because they served a superior cava!!! Not really the answer I wanted or expected.
The restaurant food. There was always plenty of choice at all meal times and dishes constantly replaced as necessary. Show cooking was a bit disappointing as generally unless you spoke to the chef, all meats and fish were well over cooked and dry. When I asked the chef to cook the thin cuts quickly he obliged and they were perfect. He seemed to think a crispy piece of meat is what was we wanted!
Wines were available on tap as was beer soft drinks and water.
Waiting staff were excellent and cleared away plates promptly and quietly.
A big thank you to Maria, Maria, Mohammed, Jorge and Carmen , Juanjo and Patricia the restaurant staff who served us so well. Additionally all the Chefs who listened and took on board all requests and suggestions.
The ‘in house’ supermarket was very well stocked and had nearly everything you would need if you needed to supplement your stay or were self catering. Fresh bread was always available.
Reception staff were happy, welcoming and ready to help.
Oh, of course there’s always a but!
The holiday was let down by only one area of staffing. Housekeeping. After 8 nights we had to ask for clean sheets. We were told they would be automatically changed every 3/4 nights. The, what I think were rubberised mattress protectors caused us to sweat quite a lot and most nights the sheets suffered, and the bottom sheet was always very crumpled. Housekeeping made the beds each day. I say made the beds. Yes they were very tidy on first inspection until you turned back the duvet to get into bed. The duvet was neat but the sheets were just as tangled and untidy as when you got up in the morning!. Wash basins were never wiped down and when the soap dispenser ran out I placed the emp unit in front of the basin but it was still there after the room was serviced. Sadly the floors were not swept and any thing that was accidentally left on the floor e.g. talcum powder, was still there days later.
Just as a tip for those who like a pillow menu, there isn’t one and the pillows are very firm!
With a few tweaks to the housekeeping, and show cooking and a little room updating this hotel could genuinely be a 4star hotel than one hanging by its fingertips to 3star. The HM group have a little jewel that now needs polishing.
The hotel is in a quiet location but only 6-7 minutes stroll to a lovely beach. It’s about mid way between Sa Coma centre and Cala Millor centre, both about a20 minute flat stroll.

We stayed for 5 nights couldn't off asked for a better stay staff was super friendly and helpful. Location
Hotel położony w cichej okolicy, zdala od imprez, barów i sklepów. Około 10 minut spacerem do plaży Cala Millo. Czyste pokoje, wygodne materace dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania okolicy.
All in all a nice hotel. Could do with a little upgrade. Is looking a bit old in some places. Bathroom Kit hen ect. Location is fantastic though
Just returned from a lovely stay at Mar Blau. Overall is was a very very good experience.
Staff were super friendly and accommodating and facilities were very good and in line with the star rating.
We found the broad European/Spanish food options very good and varied, however if you have a narrow taste pallet, it may come across as limited.
It's location for us was great with the beaches and resort of Cala Millor much closer to the hotel than those of Sa Como.
It's also located close to the main bus routes so also excellent for exploring further afield.
I'd highly recommend this hotel to those travellers who are rounded and knowledgeable of Spanish accommodation. - If it's steak pie and fish and chips you are after, this place I'm afraid is not for you.
Read a lot of poor reviews but this hotel was amazing food really lovey maybe not much variety for children usual chips and pizza every day. Drinks at bar not a lot of choice depends on what you like but I bought a bottle of my favourite alcohol for 8euros and added it to my coke as they wanted 6 euros for one shot I did ask permission and bar person said it was ok so was happy. The room was a studio and was lovely clean lovely fitted kitchen with kettle and fridge hired the safe hairdryer in bathroom free internet . I couldn’t fault the staff only one miserable barman but other than him they were all lovely. I don’t normally go back to any hotels like to go to different places but would go back to here for a short break again as it was only a 2 hour flight.
Todo muy bien
El personal del hotel muy amable y las instalaciones están fenomenal, las camas son muy cómodas. Teníamos incluido el desayuno y la cena y la comida estaba muy rica
