Great location and breakfast, but the room needs an upgrade
Pros:

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of delicious options, and the hotel’s central location offers a beautiful view.

However, our room left much to be desired. We were assigned an older, unrenovated room that showed clear signs of wear and tear. Additionally, the curtains were incomplete; while other rooms had sheer curtains (net curtains) for privacy, these were missing in our room. The toilet and sink were also discolored, which made the bathroom look unclean. Furthermore, the mini-fridge in the room wasn't working.

The biggest issue was the temperature and air quality. There was no air conditioning, making the room uncomfortably hot. Opening the window didn't help at all with cooling or fresh air. To make matters worse, the bathroom ventilation system shuts off at night, leaving no air circulation.

Lastly, housekeeping missed our scheduled cleaning after the second night. They only came to clean after we reported it to reception at the end of the day.

With some renovations and better maintenance, this could be a fantastic place to stay, but our room comfort was unfortunately disappointing.

fin beliggenhet , for dyrt å bo der. ikke god kaffe

beliggenheten var ok og sentralt, frokost var som forventet og ikke mer en det.

Cons:

pris var for høy ut fra forventningene, dere hadde mange kaffeautomater men ingen lagde god kaffe noe jeg forventer når pris på rommet er så høy

Skuffet. Betaler over 2700kr for et rom for en person.

Jeg har bodd der før. God frokost og beliggenhet

Cons:

Opplevde at rommet ikke var rent. Det lå brukte håndklær i dusjen//på vasken. Ingen beklagelse

Absolutt must i Trondheim, men spis lunsj eller middag ett anna sted

Selvfølgelig er frokosten meget bra. Godt utvalg, divers, fersk og godt presentert. Insatsen tidlig på dagen trekker desverre resten av restauranten / bistro ned.

Cons:

Bistro, om man kalle det for en restaurant, uansett ser det ut opplagt fra corporate Scandic. Ingen mulighet å endre noe på resepten, ie gluten eller melkefri, ingen vilje for å tilpasse noe som helst. Plankekjøring som frokosten på en miniskala. 3/10 score

Varmt på rommet om natta. Hadde igjen vinduet og dro gardin for pga klimaanlegget, men litt dårlig nattesøvn pga temperatur
