Nightmare!
Pros:

Most places used Lockdown as an opportunity to freshen up the decor. The Corralea missed out on that.
Nobody at reception when I arrived. It took a while to find someone to check me in. I was given a room at the front of the hotel. In order to have a nightmare it is first necessary to be asleep. I had my nightmare without the benefit of sleep. Midnight to 2.am was filled with the noise of people leaving the pubs and the nearby chipper. I slept from 2.am 'til 4.am. Then every lorry, tractor, cattle trailer and broken exhaust in Galway passed through the centre of Tuam. At 7.am the beer delivery lorry arrived. The noise of empty kegs being loaded made sure that no sleep would happen. Then the bin lorries arrived. No sleep. Then the daily routine began. No sleep. When checking out, the receptionist thought that all this was actually funny. If you do have to stay there, ask for a room at the back.
