Important information:

On the weekend of July 23th to 26th, 2026 and August 9th, 2026, the annual Duhner Artists' Promenade Festival and the Duhner Wadden Race will take place right on the doorstep of the accommodations. The hotel points out that the promenade will be quite lively in the evenings and therefore asks for your understanding for this happy summer festival!

In the expected period from January 11th to January 14th, 2027, our LEVITAS WELLSPA wellness area will be closed due to annual maintenance work. If you would like to swim, we invite you to the “Thalassozentrum ahoi!” adventure pool at our expense. (1640 ft away). The supervised fitness training offered there on equipment or in courses is also free of charge.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Sehr, sehr gutes Hotel mit WLAN wie vor zwanzig Jahren
Pros:

Viele durchdachte Details, z.B. ein Leihfernglas auf dem Zimmer und ein Bad mit (endlich mal) genügend Ablagen. Der Spiegel beheizbar, um nach dem Duschen nicht zu beschlagen.
Sehr bequeme, große Betten mit Kissenmenü.
Komfortable Zimmergröße mit sehr schöner Möblierung. Andere Anbieter würden solche Zimmer bereits als „Junior-Suite“ vermarkten.
Lichtschalter mit intuitiver Bedienbarkeit statt mangelhaft programmierter Bus-Systeme.
Dediziertes Tablet auf dem Zimmer für Infos (Hotel, Events, Restaurants, Umgebung, Wetter) und Anfragen an die Rezeption.
Vermutlich die beste Unterkunft, welche ich in den vergangenen zwei Jahren gebucht hatte (zehn bis zwölf Unterkünfte im 4 bis 5 Sterne Superior - Bereich)

Cons:

Die „schalldichten“ Türen fallen gerne so laut ins Schloss, dass man den Knall auch noch zwei Etagen weiter hört, aber mit Ohrstöpseln ist auch ein tagsüber ein Mittagsschlaf möglich.
Manko: Das WLAN ist extrem schwach und hat wenig Bandbreite. Da im Ort 5G nicht flächendeckend vorhanden ist, wird das Abrufen der Mails oder das EPaper morgens zur Geduldsprobe.

Pros:

Super Hotel in bester Strandlage, tolles Frühstück, sehr hilfsbereites und nettes Personal, modern eingerichtete Zimmer, großes Schwimmbad, alles extrem gepflegt

Cons:

Etwas zu weiche Matratzen, veganes Angebot zum Frühstück könnte vielfältiger sein

Alles was das Herz begehrt
Pros:

Süßes komfortables Einzelzimmer mit allem was man so benötigt. Seife, Shampoo und Lotion waren vorhanden. Bettes Personal und sehr sauber. Beste Lage, direkt am Deich und Geschäften. Würde es immer wieder buchen. Parkplätze vorhanden. Tolles Frühstück.

Pros:

Das außerordentlich herzlich freundliche Personal. Die Lage am Meer ist wunderbar und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Ausstattung in Zimmer und Bad war sehr gut! Auch die Spa-Angebote tragen zum Genuss bei.
Das Bistro ist sehr zu empfehlen; auch hier außerordentlich nettes Personal und die Speisen, die ich versuchte, waren alle tipptopp.

Cons:

Die Matratze war viel zu weich und die Bettdecke zu warm und schwer. Aber für ein paar Tage ging es.
Leider hatte es mit dem Zimmer mit Meerblick nicht mehr geklappt

Empfehlenswert mit Abstrichen
Pros:

Die Lage ist toll, das Schwimmbad hatte ich meistens für mich alleine (Hotel war ausgebucht). Viele Parkplätze (leider auch als Hotelgast kostenpflichtig). Tipp: Aussicht im 6. Stock genießen :-)
Frühstück lecker, tolle Brötchen ! Und das Rührei für mich perfekt :-)

Cons:

Zimmer zum Innenhof, trotzdem teuer, und es läuft die Lüftung der Küche von 7.00h-22.00h, teilweise mit entsprechenden Gerüchen im Zimmer. Klima zu laut, daher entweder mit Klima schlecht schlafen oder Fenster auf und um 7.00h geht die Lüftung an...
Nie wieder Zimmer zum Innenhof ! Leider war nichts anderes mehr frei :-( Sehr eng zwischen Bett und Fenster.
Beim Frühstück jemanden suchen um Kaffee zu bekommen :-( Nur Vollfett Produkte beim Frühstück (Margarine, Joghurt).
