The hotel and staff were lovely. I totally loved the beach bar & rooftop ! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything about was great and it’s not that far from a lot of main attractions in the downtown area. The valet service at the hotel was also super helpful. Special shoutout to Jonathan the valet guy who pointed us to the best little pub ever your the best!
Best hotel I’ve stayed in when visiting Savannah. The amenities are great, hotel is nice key layers out and decorated. So convenient to everything in the heart of the river walk. The entire staff is fantastic.
We are a senor couple lifetime Marriott Gold.
This was the worst Marriott property stay across all brands by far that I can remember.
Bad enough that i took the time to write serrately to the exec in charge of this brand. Lets just say finding underwear ina drw upon arrival and going down from there.
I'd look up the prohibition museum on google in a pedestrian mall and select a hotel closer to it.
Stayed at the Alida Hotel for Fathers Day. I am a dedicated Marriot hoteler. I called the front desk to request late checkout. I explained i was a gold member and she rudely said we are sold out and 12 is the best i can do. I repeated my status and again she repeated herself rudely. I checked my Bonvoy app and yes she lied as well there were plenty of rooms abailable.
Our ResortPass day at the Alida Hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel welcomed and genuinely valued.
A special thank you to Nate, the valet supervisor, and Arnel in valet services for their professionalism, efficiency, and warm hospitality. First impressions matter, and they set the tone for a fantastic day.
At the front desk, Kayla and Kelvin were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the check-in process effortless. Their positive attitudes and attention to detail helped make everything seamless from start to finish.
The pool atmosphere was outstanding, clean, relaxing, and perfectly maintained. Pool bartender Jarrett provided exceptional service throughout the day, keeping guests well taken care of while creating a fun and welcoming environment. Preparing thirst quenching drinks to order!
What stood out most was the level of hospitality across every department. It’s clear that the Alida has built a culture focused on guest experience, and it shows. Whether you’re staying overnight or enjoying a day pass, this property offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and genuine Southern hospitality.
We left refreshed, relaxed, and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable Savannah pool day experience.
Will definitely be returning. Five stars all around!
Location, decor, service, food, amenities were all great! Rooftop bar was a pleasure to enjoy - hummus and pita bread was divine!
The only thing that surprised me is that robes weren’t provided. I would have expected a hotel like the Alida to have them. That said, I also deeply appreciate efforts to decarbonize operations and having guest robes would increase washing and cleaning waste.
Great location
Nothing I didn’t like
El teléfono no funcionaba.
Great location and beautiful hotel
Love the Modern decor
Beautifully decorated, large room with super comfy beds, wonderful staff, and walkable location. The breakfast is great, especially the iced coffee! Also, loved that we could borrow a vinyl record player for our room.
Staff was great, from arrival, the valet guys were friendly and front desk staff knowledgeable about the area. It has a nice vibe, bar and restaurant Rhett had delicious food and wonderful service. The best grits of the trip!
It was quiet, no noise from other rooms or even hallways.
The location is ok but not as nice as closer to historic district. Around the hotel hasn’t been updated and we found ourselves walking to other areas. We would stay up river or further in town if we go back to Savannah. Our room was pretty small, but window seat helped.
The pool closed early every day so no after dinner or late night swims.
The hotel
Is clean, comfortable, quiet and has everything you would want including a great fitness center. Close to everything but not in the noisy area of Savannah
Excellent hotel from start to finish! Polina at the front desk always provides a fantastic check-in experience and I look forward to seeing her on each visit. She makes each guest feel special and appreciated!
It was a great location with a lovely calm and relaxing atmosphere and riverfront energy. Everyone was kind and pleasant, from the valet staff, Autumn was great, to the front desk staff. We loved our cozy room and view. We had a great visit and hope to stay again!
5 star rating. Highly recommend.

My stay at Hotel Alida in Savannah was nothing short of amazing—it truly felt like a 5-star experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was beautiful, modern, and welcoming, and everything was kept spotless. The rooms were stylish, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could ask for.
What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. The valet team was quick, professional, and made everything super easy every time we arrived or left. One person in particular, Ty, stood out the most. Ty went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. That level of care doesn’t go unnoticed.
Overall, I’d highly recommend Hotel Alida to anyone looking for a top-tier stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!
The location and beds were very comfortable
They didn't do what was told me about my reservation
