The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The reception staff, cleaning and maintenance staff, restaurant and bar staff - all doing their best to make your stay pleasant. The hotel is centrally placed, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, the central station and the ferry docks. It's ambiance has been kept intact and it has a comfy feeling to it. in one word: Nice.
There was really nothing to "not like". The hotel is aging and in need of a lot of TLC. Some rooms are more needy than others. We started out in one of these rooms but when we voiced our concerns the staff moved us immediately to a less needy one. The renovation effort is ongoing and that unavoidably has some effect, but the staff and the ambience and the location made the stay very pleasant. If we return to Arona in the future the Atlantic will certainly be a first choice.
The Atlantic is in a great location, very close to Arona train station & Lidl for good value options during your stay. The staff were very helpful allowing an early check-in at no extra cost & I was allowed to have a drink at the bar prior to check-in. The gentleman at the bar kindly provided some food with the drink & I really appreciated the thought. Thank you.

Frühstück, fast nur süße Speisen, kenne es aber kaum anders von Italien… Zimmer sind sehr alt und renovierungsbedürftig, vor allem auch das Bad! Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig!
