Beautifully appointed, modern hotel with friendly and professional staff and a 1st rate restaurant.
Pros:

We absolutely loved this hotel and were sorry we weren't able to spend more than one night there. The staff was very pleasant and professional and out check-in process was a breeze. The room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. We particularly appreciate that the windows can be opened slightly to allow fresh air in. We also enjoyed our delicious breakfast so much that we came back in the afternoon for lunch and were very glad we did. Honestly, I can't think of a better way to have begun our trip to Japan.

Pros:

Staff were great. Room and facilities were as I expected. Location was perfect for navigating the city, use exit 3 at Ueno for the shortest approach (note stairs).
