Comfortable place except quite cold. No personnel to help and breakfast was not available.
Cons:

The reception was closed when we arrived and we did not get any help to find the place. A window was openned in one of the room of appartment and the heater was not working so it was very cold. There was not extra blanket. In the morning, I was informed that there was no breakfast while it the reason why we chose the place, so we were quite desappointed.

De locatie, dicht bij openbaar vervoer

Cons:

Veel zaken in appartement waren aan vervanging/ reparatie toe :
los zittende kraan van wastafel
lampje bij bed defect
televisie deed het niet
Handgreepje van keuken kastje afgebroken
Stopcontact in badkamer hing los (gevaar)

Pros:

A localização para os nossos fins perto da zona da Haniel era muito boa

Cons:

Os quartos, apesar da sinalização de proibido fumar tresandavam a fumo, muito desconfortável mesmo.
Não existir elevador devia estar avisado, e as escadas são muito desconfortaveis

Lage in Ruhrort und die Nähe zur Straßenbahn und ganz besonders das Frühstück und die persönliche Betreuung durch die Dame, die für das Frühstück zuständig war.

Cons:

Das Alter ist nicht spurlos am Hotel vorbeigegangen.

Cons:

There was the noise of the fan in the bathroom and no way to stop it. So the first night was with that noise.
In the morning I wanted to ask someone to solve the problem, but the lady speaks only german! I tried to explain the problem with gestures and she apparently understood and said it was ok.
Nevertheless, when I came back for the second night the noise was exactly like the day before.
Moreover, the position is very uncomfortable. Some 5 km from the railway station.
Finally, I was at the second floor and, besides not having the lift, the stairs are incredibly small (large about half of my foot).

OK für die Durchreise
Pros:

Spontane Ersatzbuchung für eine unerwartete Absage war möglich. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Das Personal freundlich. Die Lage günstig für den Grund der Reise. Wegen Bauarbeiten auf der Straße gab es nur Sackgassenverkehr und keinen Straßenbahnbetrieb - also war es verhältnismäßig ruhig trotz direkter Straßenlage.

Cons:

Altes Gebäude in "interessanter Nachbarschaft" mit steilen, kurzen Stufen. Sehr kleines Zimmer (Nr 4) im 2.OG mit ausgedientem Schreibtisch mit abgeplatztem Plastikfurnier als einzigem Möbel (außer zwei Betten mit harten 80cm-Matratzen). Schmale Türen und Wege - Thermostat der Heizung verhindert zB das weite Öffnen der Badtür, defekter Wasserhahn im Bad. Eins der Betten steht direkt unter den Fenstern. Deutlich zu teuer für den gebotenen Komfort.
