Emplacement excellent !

Cons:

Odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain et mauvaise évacuation de l'eau d'un lavabo. Problème d'éclairage dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner réduit au strict minimum.

Burvīga viesnīca senlaicīgā pilī. Visapkārt paveras skaisti dabasskati. Ir kluss un mierīgs, lieliska atmosfēra. Numuriņš pietiekami plašs, gulta milzīga un ērta. Labs restorāns. Ir dažas neērtības, bet jāņem vērā, kā tā ir viduslaiku pils!

Beautiful location in old castle
Pros:

The location was beautiful. The house was inside the castle and was old.

Cons:

It felt moist. The bed linen was moist too. And the house was not easy to find because the staff did not give any info about how to find the house and where the breakfast was. It worked out fine but these small details make the stay even more special. And no reserved parking space for the hotel so you had to find a space somewhere and drag your stuff all the way up. Not a problem but a parking space a bit close to the entry of the castle would be nice. And yes. I don’t expect a parking space at the house itself of course:). But we had to park quite a long way down the road. So we took our stuff for the night out of luggage and only took necessary stuff up to the house.

Stunning location with epic views! Restful and comfortable.
Pros:

Absolutely fantastic location with stunning views of the valleys and mountains of the area. The breakfast was fantastic at a reasonable time (I.e. it didn’t end too early for a holiday lie in) and the restaurant was delicious with a variety of excellent dishes. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable and the bed was enormous!
We enjoyed coffee and drinks on the terraces of the castle and watching the birds of prey swooping overhead. Some nice walks nearby though we were visiting for a wedding nearby so weren’t able to fully take advantage of these.
The staff were all fantastic, friendly and incredibly helpful! I want to come back here ASAP!!

Cons:

Only tiny thing was that the shower in our room had a flimsy fixture to the wall so the pressure of the shower (which was excellent) forced it off the wall and soaked the bathroom!! Something we adapted to but was a bit alarming first time.

Wohnen im Turmzimmer mit eigener Burgzinne/Terrasse hoch oben war außergewöhnlich.
Panoramablick 360° - super auf Gelände und Stausee. Sehr ruhig, da abgelegen/Natur pur.
Urtümliche Burg mit besonderem Charme.

Cons:

Weg vom großen Parkplatz zum Hotel mit Koffern beschwerlich, da 80 Höhenmeter und 600m Anstieg
auf Kopfsteinplaster.

Impresionantes vistas, aunque ojo con el aire acondicionado.
Pros:

Alucinantes las vistas, la tranquilidad y la terraza.

Cons:

Nos tocó una habitación en la que no funcionaba el aire acondicionado. De hecho salía aire caliente. En lugar de ofrecernos otra (había muchas habitaciones libres) nos dieron un ventilador.
