Hotel Kalemi 2

A wonderful family owned boutique hotel with kind and friendly staff. Though we had to drive up a very steep hill to reach the hotel and tight parking situation, they helped us park safely. Amazing breakfast with a view on their rooftop terrace!

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of the "old town" walking distance to all the tourist attractions.
The service is excellent and the rooms are perfectly renovated.

The property was perfect. The room was very clean and full of character as it was a converted attic with low beamed ceiling and low windows that had beautiful views.
The staff were very gentle and helpful.

This hotel has a great location close to Gjirokaster castle, old town and other historic attractions. It provides parking for the guests which is really ok if you traveling by car. The service and the staff are excellent hard working and professional people and very kind and helpful. We had an amazing experience- the location of the hotel is great, the breakfast was plentiful and authentic Albanian food served with kindness and hospitality. We highly highly recommend this amazing hotel in Gjirokaster.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Kalemi 2 Hotel. The building itself is full of charm and history, beautifully preserved while still offering all the modern comforts. My room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with lovely traditional details that made the experience feel authentic and special.

The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay—always ready with a smile and great recommendations. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the views from the hotel are just stunning.

The location is ideal, right in the heart of Gjirokastër’s old town, making it easy to explore the castle, cobblestone streets, and local restaurants.

I highly recommend Kalemi 2 Hotel to anyone visiting Gjirokastër. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s part of the experience. I’ll definitely return!

Hotel is in an older building and represent an older style - very good rooms and some great views. Breakfast was excellent - staff were very friendly. Finding the place in a car was a challenge as was parking but we had a great stay and enjoyed the experience.

Hotel a poucos passos do bazar, muitos restaurantes, barres, lojinhas de souvenir . Também fácil de ir a pé para o castelo e museus .
Difícil foi chegar lá porque o Google maps não ajudou. Foi aí que a recepcionista do hotel veio ao nosso encontro e nos guiou. Uma imensa gentileza.
Tudo muito caprichado , cada lugar do hotel bem charmoso .

Hôtel très typique. Chambre spacieuse. Le seul bemol la climatisation qui fonctionne mal. Avec la chaleur la chambre est étouffante car beaucoup de tapis boiseries et plafond bas... très beau mais trop chaud. Accès à l'hôtel en voiture difficile et périlleux. Montée très très raide étroite et pavée

Beautiful views and night life around the city. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful (we got lost and the staff helped with directions to the hotel). Definitely worth stopping and staying a night or two if youre in the area. I would go out of my way to stay here again if travelling to Albania.
