Uncomfortable beds, late-night noise, and an unavailable gym
Pros:

The access to the conference room from the hotel rooms. Same building and easy. Breakfast on the same floor as the conference was another plus.

Cons:

I stayed at Astoria Grand Hotel in Sofia for three nights and was disappointed with several aspects of the stay.

My room had two twin beds that I found small and uncomfortable, with blankets too short to provide adequate coverage.

The first-floor casino meant there were consistently people gathering outside the hotel entrance, making the area feel busy and crowded. More concerning, music from the casino could be heard in my room on the 14th floor well into the night.

The gym shown in the hotel’s advertising was also closed for renovation and, I understand, will remain unavailable for months. This was another disappointment. A prolonged closure of an advertised amenity should be clearly disclosed before guests book.

Comfortable beds, a quiet room, and accurate information about available facilities are reasonable expectations. Unfortunately, this stay fell short, and I would hesitate to recommend the hotel to travelers seeking a restful stay.

Konum ve personel çok iyiydi. Odanın ışığı ve eşyaları düzgün ve temizdi. Sadece çok soğuktu.
Pros:

2 gün kaldım, çölyak olduğumu iletmiştim. Yiyecek buldum, ama buna uygun bir ekmek ya da alternatif yoktu. Marketlerde de yoktu.

Cons:

Soğuk. Yağmur yağarken ısı düştü, odadaki ısıtma sistemi çalışmadı. Tamir edecek biri yoktu. İlk gece çok soğuktu. 2 tane battaniye istedim, geldi hemen. Ama mevsime göre odalardaki havalandırma ve ısıtıcıları kontrol etmiyorlar demek ki.

Pros:

The welcome upon arrival was friendly; a young man escorted me and my luggage to my room. The burger at the restaurant on the 22nd floor was good, though overpriced, and the service was perfectly fine. Breakfast was decent with a fair selection—nothing extraordinary.

Cons:

There was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room at arrival, which even an open window couldn't mask. Later that evening, upon returning to the room, I found it filled with an unpleasant sewage odor. The breakfast staff (of whom there were quite a few) failed to keep items replenished in a timely manner; for instance, the coffee machines ran out of water, and there was a shortage of bread, among other things.

Харесва ми клубът на последният етаж, супер е, когато можеш да отседнеш на същото място.
