Hotel garage (paid) only available at normal access hours to drive into = (before 11 p.m.)
Pros:

The room was fine, large and quiet, as already known from past trips to Hansa Apart Regensburg.
Breakfast was ok, but don't expect grandma's home made cookies.
We found it comfortable to directly access the underground garage by the elevator.

Cons:

1. Driving the car into the underground hotel garage is only possible before 23 hours, as there is no one at the reception desk during the night, to open it for you! Beware, as I was not explicitely informed upon check-in.
I was tought how to drive out at any given time from the garage using chips (to be obtained from the reception, not limited in number). I was also informed to take the room key with us, because after 23 hours I have to use it to enter the building and into our room... but nothing about this driving in limitation.
It might be possible to find some parking place in the streets, but the paid garage service was not possible due to this missunderstanding. There is no use crying over spilt milk.

2. Beware the hotel cleaning personnel would ring at your door aleady by 9 a.m. in the morning!
I found it embarrasing that they could not coordinate with the reception desk, not even on the very day we left.
So make sure to use the "Do not disturb" sign, hoping this would do.
This is something new compared to the past visits over the years.

Pros:

Liegt unmittelbar neben den Arcaden, also perfekt nach einem Shopping Tag. Auch in die Innenstadt/Altstadt sind es nur ca. 20 Gehminuten. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Zimmer waren sehr sauber, es gibt auch einige Seminarräume, also ideal als Tagungshotel

Die Hotelpolitik ist eine Unverschämtheit.
Das Hotel wirbt mit "obere Stockwerke über Aufzug erreichbar", "Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung, Reservierung nicht notwendig"
Wenn man jedoch später als 23 Uhr ankommt, bekommt man einen Code für den Schlüsselkasten, der die Tür zum Treppenhaus öffnet, alle anderen Faszilitäten sind nicht zugänglich.
Sowohl die Aufzüge wie auch die Tiefgarage werden zwischen 23 und 06 Uhr gesperrt. Es gibt kein Nachtpersonal, keinen Notruf.
Das Treppenhaus ist oberhalb des Erdgeschosses nicht mit einem Notfallsystem ausgestattet.
Menschen, die gesundheitlich auf einen Aufzug angewiesen sind, werden von diesem Hotelmanagement durch die unvollständigen Angaben auf den online Buchungsseiten in die Irre geführt und schlimmstenfalls gefährdet.
Unter den Richtlinien findet man einen ausführlichen Bericht, warum und was das Hotel wegen der Covid Pandemie veranlasst hat. Bis hin zum Wegfall des Shuttle Service (sehr detailliert), aber kein Wort über die Sperrung von Aufzügen und Tiefgarage während der Nacht. Da ist der Text plötzlich ganz vage und spricht allgemein nur von "Service".
