Lovely hotel. Probably wouldn't return due to adverse features above.
Pros:

Location.
Size and decoration of rooms.
Plenty of space.

Cons:

Rooms were cold with inadequate radiators.

Ein perfekt gelegenes Hotel, dass Massenabfertigung von Bussen bevorzugt.
Pros:

Die Lage ist super!

Cons:

Die zahlreichen Busreisegruppen, die abends ins Hotel einfallen und im Speisesaal(Blick zum Parkplatz mit Bussen) sich am Buffet sehr speziell benahmen. Einzelreisende gehen dabei unter. Die wenigen Hauptgerichte auf der Menükarte waren eher minderwertig.
Tagsüber kommen zudem weitere Busladungen zur Besichtigung der schönen Räume.

Stop for the view, but don't stay!
Pros:

Nice big room with lovely view of valley from huge window. Good location for getting the Flam train the next morning.

Cons:

Luckily we stopped in Voss on drive from Bergen and picked up dinner. Awful dinner menu if you are vegetarian. Food at breakfast buffet wasn't great either.
Hotel is dated as are furnishings in the room. WAY overpriced. No need to stay here. Stay in Flam if you are getting early Flam train.

one of the best views I've ever had at a hotel, clean comfy rooms, nice bathroom

Cons:

restaurant was just okay especially for the price, maybe the buffet option was better choice but we got a la carte and it wasn't great

This hotel has one of the best views in the world!
Pros:

The location is one of the best in the world for extraordinary views. Also love the lobby with its gorgeous mix of mid century furnishings.

Cons:

Rooms are fairly basic and we experienced a few big tour groups at dinner - super noisy!. The staff were great though and shifted our dinner setting to the lobby

Would have potential if renovated and modernized
Pros:

The views from the basement hall

Cons:

Mattress was very uncomfortable, there were uninsulated cables coming out of the wall, the whole hotel looks like it was never renovated since the 60s. Breakfast very basic. Totally overpriced
