The rooms and view were good. The food was poor.
Pros:

The food options were poor. The dinner and associated service was poor...and the breakfast was also poor. We skipped breakfast on our 2nd day.

Un hotel sympa dans un cadre magique.

Chambre familiale suffisamment grande et avec une très belle terrasse.

Beliggenheden og det historiske sus er fantastisk.
Store værelser med fantastisk udsigt.
Behagelige fællesområder både inde og i haven.

Cons:

Maden stod ikke til forventningen sammenholdt med prisen man betaler. Jeg havde lang tid inden vi kom varslet om cøliaki, og de lovede at der ville være noget vi kunne spise. Det var det også, men udvalget var meget lille og kvaliteten på maden var generelt ikke imponerende - heller ikke for dem i rejsefølget som ikke har cøliaki.

This is my second stay at the Stalheim hotel, I hope there is a third.😊
Pros:

The views!! The character of the hotel, the staff, especially chatting with some of the young people working for the summer from other countries. Excellent breakfast.

Luft nach oben.
Pros:

Die Lage ist schon außergewöhnlich schön, auch der große Barbereich gefällt. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung ist schon etwas abgewohnt und keinen Fernseher im Zimmer zu haben, ist heutzutage in der Preisklasse wohl untypisch.

Homely feel in a grand setting!
Pros:

It is a slightly quirky property with furniture of varying eras. It wasn't all bright, shiny and new which made it super relaxing with my dog. It just had a great atmosphere!

Dejlig lokation, men det hele virker lidt slidt.
Vi var i området og havde brug for en overnatning, og til det fungerede det fint.
Vi havde en fantastisk udsigt fra vores værelse (tilvalg).

Het uitzicht en dat was ook echt het enige!

Alles!
De kamers waren vreselijk slecht, zeer gedateerd en ouderwets. De badkamer leek wel uit de jaren 60 van de vorige eeuw.
De eetzaal leek wel een wachtkamer in een ziekenhuis. Je eet onder de TL balken en het eten was zeer matig.
Veel te duur voor wat het bied!
