Overall not bad for a short stay if your just getting things done
Pros:

i like that its near everything safe area easy to get an uber and a rental office is around the corner and a park is also near the hotel the employs are nice and accommodating i like the old style of the building

Cons:

the breakfast range is not that great, the room is clean but everything is worn, walls are dirty shower drain floods requires repair toilet door wont close the room door is not sealing properly and can hear everything outside like they are inside the room especially in the morning when gardening work is done and a little bit of ear will keep the door moving and slamming

Cons:

The breakfast was all Jamaican food and nothing else on offer and you we finally found out that you had to ask for a cooked English Breakfast.

Very Disappointing Experience at The Liguanea Club

My experience at The Liguanea Club in Jamaica was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The bathroom had visible mold, the sink was leaking, there was a period when we had no running water, and the cable was turned off.

These are basic things that should be properly maintained when guests are paying to stay at a hotel. A clean bathroom, working plumbing, running water, and the amenities that are supposed to come with the room are not too much to expect.

I reported the problems and asked for a refund because of the condition of the accommodation, but I was told no refund would be given. That made the experience even more frustrating.

I did not receive the quality or comfort that I paid for. I’m leaving this review so other travelers can be aware of my experience before deciding to book The Liguanea Club.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are properly addressed.
