The aircon kept leaking even after they attempted to fix it. They should have moved us to a new room than letting us deal with that. That ruined our stay

Wonderful and happy family Christmas .
Pros:

The hotel and surrounds are beautiful . We spent most days at the pool where our grand kids enjoyed everything thoroughly. Because we had a child with very specific dietary needs that we arranged beforehand for, the kitchen and staff was most accommodating . Thanks a lot Chef and Bettie . The festive and Xmas atmosphere made for a fantastic week in the Lowveld

Cons:

The spa; ,pedicure and massages were a bit lack lacking. Maybe because the staff had to work a lot.

Mixed experience at Sabie River Sun Resort
Pros:

I loved the location — it’s beautiful and peaceful, with lovely surroundings that make for a relaxing getaway.

On the positive side, the breakfast and dinner were both good. The only minor disappointment was that noodles were served as a dinner option two nights in a row.

The children really enjoyed the pool and play area, which were definite highlights. While the facilities are old, they are well maintained overall.

With a bit more attention to cleanliness and room layout, this could easily be a great stay.

Cons:

However, the room setup was quite odd. There was barely any space to move the chair at the desk, and the shower in room 216 was full of black mold, which made it feel dirty and uncomfortable to use.

The staff were not always friendly, especially the cleaning staff, which made the stay feel less welcoming than expected.
