Sauberes, freundliches Hotel mit guter Ausstattung, gutem Frühstück und wunderschöner Aussicht auf den Brienzersee und die umliegenden Berge.

Beautiful location next to lake Brienz
Pros:

Excellent location. Extremely clean. Efficiently run.
Close to the lake and free parking on site. Very convenient.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been more copious - we were told some things were finished m even though we came at around 8.30.

Pros:

- quite a lot of parking spaces, just be careful of arriving at dinner time, when the places are often completely full,

- the best of the regular rooms is number 34 - amazing view of the lake,

- don't be fooled that the hotel has check-in only until 18:00, the reception is also open after that, but a little more limited - the staff runs around to help in the restaurant operation,

- towels changed every day,

- very comfortable mattresses,

- excellent water pressure in the shower, it is not the rule, the bathroom is always clean and properly tidied,

- daily complimentary water.

Cons:

- the hotel offers half board, but an active person basically cannot make it, because dinner is served exclusively between 6-7 pm and we are still in the hills or at the lake, fortunately you can order dinner outside the half board regime, unless it is a day of rest - RUHETAG,

- terribly weak internet in the room (we lived on the 3rd floor), which either does not work at all or is very weak,

- even though we slept here for 6 nights, they did not change our bed linen,

- the hotel is located a little further from the center (harbor, train station), but there is a pleasant walk around the lake to the center,

- no air conditioning,

- at breakfast we had to ask each other often to replenish some ingredients, especially still water, brie cheese, the staff needs to monitor this more and respond immediately by replenishing it, not after a warning.
