Very comfortable stay when moved room. Sound proofing was really poor in my standard room for even a phone call made in next room. Helpful staff member moved me to an upgraded room with no fuss which was very nicely done. Large very comfortable bed. Breakfast staff were pleasant but stayed out of sight away from the breakfast dining area in the self service area and needed to be located after a few minutes for a reminder to bring the pot of tea. No issues after that. An easily resolved problem I imagine.

Booked for a Friday night with my 3 daughters as we had an event to attend in Letterkenny the next morning. From start to finish, I couldnt have asked for better service. Communication beforehand was quick, pleasant and welcoming. Our family room was simply stunning....2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom and a DRESSING ROOM!!!! My kids were in their element! We ate it the bar and it was so tasty and reasonable. Highly recommend this place....every single member of staff were exceptional from reception to the restaurant/bar and even the wee cleaner the next morning..... so friendly and kind. Well done Dillons....we will definitely be back

From the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel welcome. The lady who checked us in explained everything and was so friendly. Our room was spotless, bed comfortable and lovely big white fluffy towels in the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was top notch. All staff we encountered went above and beyond for us. A special mention to Stephen who works in the bar/restaurant. This young man is a true asset to the hotel. We will definitely be returning guests!! Well done all at Dillons!!

Such a homely location, full attention to customer service on all fronts yet retaining a relaxing atmosphere. Staff friendly and observant to customer needs. Special mention to Ciara from hospitality who remains d on-task at all times giving an excellent lead to her team. A good listener to customer requests and covers the room regardless of the level of business, a rare skill these days and deserves recognition. I am not taken to providing reviews but Dillon’s makes for a very relaxing break offering excellence throughout, food, bar, entertainment and bedrooms. I will return. Many thanks to all.

I’ve been in Dillon’s many times over the years for work, but this was actually my first time staying overnight, this time for a girls’ night away, and it exceeded expectations. The hotel is truly inviting from the moment you walk in the door - warm, welcoming and with a lovely atmosphere.

The food was excellent. The menu was mouthwatering. I went for the chorizo chicken, which was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was just as good and a great start to the day, with really good coffee that’s definitely worth a mention.

The staff really are a credit to the hotel. The reception team were so welcoming, and it was a lovely touch that they remembered my name. The bar staff were friendly and attentive, and it was great to see the manager as a visible presence, working alongside his teams rather than disappearing into the background. That always says a lot about how a place is run.

The room was spotless and clearly well cared for, with everything needed for a comfortable night. The Rituals products in the bathroom were a really nice touch and made the stay feel that bit more special.

Overall, a very comfortable stay with excellent food, great coffee, genuinely lovely staff and a relaxed atmosphere. A perfect choice for a girls’ night away, and I’d happily stay again the next time I’m in Letterkenny.

Location is spot on, in the main street central to the shops etc and the main shopping centre not far away.
As soon as you walk through the hotel door you can feel all your tension melting away. Light, fresh and airy the colour scheme adds relaxation and the reception staff with their friendly smile and professionalism lends to this very welcoming hotel. The rooms are styled to carry the relaxed atmosphere on. Beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds are really comfortable and I had a fantastic night's sleep. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water provided. And the guest book had all the information you need during your stay. The bathroom was spotless, shower gel, shampoo etc provided and the largest softest bath towels were perfect. Chairs in the rooms were an added bonus.
We had dinner in the hotel, and I can highly recommend the Steak Sandwich which came with pepper sauce and your choice of side order. And of course dessert followed with the lemon tart served with morelli ice cream, needless to say my plates were cleared by this very happy diner. The time from ordering to our dinner arriving was quick. Now I'm not a coffee drinker but the Cappuccino was amazing, I fully enjoyed my two cups. The entertainment was perfect. Loud enough to listen to but soft enough that you could chat normally without having to raise your voice. The restaurant and bar staff couldn't be any more attentive but also not 'in your face'. There was always someone near by if you needed anything. And the prices were very reasonable. After retiring to our rooms for the night I found the noise levels to be practically non existent. Yes you could hear the odd guest chatting as they passed the room. But it was quietly done. The rooms were warm and I was totally relaxed in the huge king size bed just reading and fully chilled out.
After a fantastic night's sleep and showered and dressed we went down for breakfast. Again no fault from this guest. We were shown to our table, our tea /coffee order taken and informed of the breakfast layout. Variety of fruit juices, cereals, continental breakfast and the good old cooked breakfast. Absolutely spot on. The hot food was served on your plate. Everything cooked to perfection and the sausages were delicious. I'm not a great fan of sausages but these were beautiful. The whole breakfast was so nice oh and the croissants are so good. The staff here were kept on their toes clearing and setting up tables again. Efficiently without appearing rushed. Extra coffee/tea was no problem and served with a smile.
This was my first time staying in Dillons and certainly won't be my last whenever I'm in the area. I apologise if you think this review is slightly long winded but to give a shorter review would have done Dillons and their staff an injustice. Book for yourself and see, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Comfortable convenient hotel stay in centre of town. Will definitely return here again for a handy night away.

Stayed here for work over 2 nights. Hotel is perfectly located in the Main Street with onsite parking located behind (€5 24hrs). The room was clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay. My only grumble would be it can be noisy if your neighbouring room has their TV on due to the build of the hotel I’m guessing, but maybe some sound insulation would help. Breakfast was good and the menu consisted of both continental and cooked, I had the poached eggs some toast which was bang on. Dinner on both nights was a good feed, especially the buffalo burger. Staff were all helpful and friendly from arrival to departure, Stephen on the bar was definitely good craic and delivered an exceptional service, and worth a shoutout. Overall a great stay will back.

We stayed at the hotel on the 28th & 29th of December and had such a lovely experience. The girls at reception were absolutely amazing — one in particular went above and beyond for us and truly made our stay so special. She was the nicest person and nothing was too much trouble.

Our room was amazing: so spacious and spotlessly clean. Although there wasn’t a travel cot in the room initially, the lovely lady with blonde hair at reception came to the rescue once again and brought extra blankets so our baby would be cosy and comfortable in the cot.

The service really stood out, and I’ve been recommending this hotel to everyone since. We can’t wait to return!

We keep coming back as it's a great hotel in a central location. Car parking behind the hotel is a reasonable price (ticket at reception). Staff & service was excellent as was the food. We had a package that included dinner from a reduced menu & it was delicious. the room was a good size & beds were comfortable. We will be back.

We go shopping in Letterkenny several times a year and have recently chosen to stay over night. This was our 3rd time to pick Dillon's hotel. It's obviously very central being on the main street, with many cafes, restaurants and bars a few minutes walk and the large shops only a 5 min drive, but the reason we return is due to the relaxed atmosphere, and fantastic friendly and helpful staff, always professional and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable and competivtely priced. We stayed for two nights on this occasion and enjoyed the live music on both nights particularly on Friday evening.
It was a very enjoyable stay and value for money too.

A few days break between Xmas and the New Year. Hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to a variety off shopping outlets. Food delicious and staff very attentive. Will return again.

Dillon’s is in the heart of letterkenny main st. Easy to access everything. From shopping to sight seeing. Just renovated. Brilliant staff in all areas. It’s spotless clean. Food is fab plenty of choice. We had great music all weekend while we were there celebrating at Christmas time.

Stayed overnight on a Saturday and although very busy was not noisy - lovely hotel - would not hesitate to stay again - friendly staff and great food

We recently held our son’s christening in Dillons Hotel, and everything was wonderful. The venue was beautiful, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive especially the manager Sarah Louise. The food was absolutely lovely. They all made the day feel so special and stress-free. Highly recommend for any family celebration!
