Pros:

Gorgeous old villa in a convenient location in Barga . Hosts were incredibly hospitable and totally charming . Breakfast was insane . All home made. The tomato tartlet was particularly good . Would definitely stay again .

Todella upea vanha tyylikäs villa. Rauhallinen ja erittäin hyvä sijainti, josta oli lyhyt matka vanhaan kaupunkiin. Erittäin ystävällinen ja auttavainen henkilökunta. Iso ja siisti uima-allas.

Un soggiorno piacevole in una villa Liberty autentica e ricca di fascino, con ancora qualche potenzi
Pros:

Villa storica dei primi del Novecento, conservata sostanzialmente nel suo stile originario e da apprezzare proprio per l'atmosfera d'epoca e l'autenticità degli ambienti. Stanza spaziosa, letto comodo e arredamento semplice. Bella la presenza della piscina, con area esterna attrezzata con sdraio, sedie e tavoli. Comodo anche il parcheggio privato all'interno della proprietà. La colazione non era inclusa ed era prenotabile a 15 € a persona; non avendone usufruito non posso esprimere un giudizio.

Cons:

Più che qualcosa che non mi sia piaciuto, mi è mancato quel qualcosa in più capace di rendere il soggiorno memorabile. È un peccato soprattutto per il giardino, che avrebbe un grande potenziale e potrebbe contribuire molto di più al fascino di una villa Liberty. Anche la coloritura esterna, molto uniforme, tende a sminuire alcuni elementi architettonici di pregio. Non servirebbe un ammodernamento, che anzi rischierebbe di snaturarla, quanto una maggiore valorizzazione del carattere storico già presente.

Lovely building just off the main road, incredibly nice staff, air conditioning a godsend.
Pros:

Nice sized pool, helpfulness and friendliness’s of staff - great help with all aspects of our visit - arranging transfers and taxis, superb management team. Good choice at breakfast, authentic furniture and furnishings, excellent air conditioning

Beautiful building, well maintained. Large rooms with lovely views. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

No hot drink making facilities for the morning. Had to wait for breakfast. But the breakfast was fabulous.

Great stay
Pros:

Lovely rooms & great breakfast. Beatrice went above and beyond to ensure we had a great trip. Organising taxis & meals out and even collecting a prescription for me from a nearby town. Extremely grateful.

Gorgeous Barga Stay!
Pros:

Beautifully restored villa in a perfect Barga location with lovely grounds and a delightful pool. Owner Beatrice and her amazing staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and varied, including eggs and bacon and homemade dessert treats. My husband and I and dog Ponto were very happy with our stay.

Cons:

There is nothing to dislike about this property - it’s perfect!

Pros:

Mooie locatie, je kunt makkelijk te voet naar het dorp. Fijn dat de kamers met elkaar verbonden zijn, als je met kinderen reist. Vriendelijk personeel, dames die ondanks de hitte zeer behulpzaam zijn.

Cons:

Airco maakte heel veel kabaal en zonder airco was ivm de hitte geen optie.

Wij waren wat minder weg van dit hotel (beetje te oud naar onze zin) als sommige andere reviews.
