Pleasant.
Pros:

The updated room was nice, bed was comfortable. The lobby bar was a nice experience.

Cons:

I was a little bummed that I couldn’t buy a late night water or snack due to the change of hands on the ownership level. Management would let the staff sell anything because the system wasn’t inventoried. The bartender did give us a couple glasses of water which helped prevent the potential hangover.

I would give it five stars. I have no complaints at all.
Pros:

Very reasonably priced, great location, friendly staff , comfortable bed, and everything was spotlessly clean in my room …delicious food at their bar and restaurant. when I first went to my room, I saw that it was facing a brick wall, which can’t be helped in an old building transformed into a hotel. One night there would’ve been fine, but I was staying for four nights, so I went down to the desk and asked if I could be changed and they immediately accommodated me to a very nice room facing the street.

Cons:

I wasn’t thrilled about parking right on the street, but I found a spot right around the corner from the hotel every night of my four nights stay . for $10 for your whole stay you can park in a garage two blocks away but I never had trouble finding a spot on the street and this free parking after 5 PM until 9 AM and free on Saturdays and Sundays so I never paid for parking.

Very nice hotel walking distance to ferries
Pros:

I am a great fan of the New Bedford Harbor Hotel. It is very well located, depending on the time of year the price can be quite reasonable.
The building is historic and some rooms celebrate that more than others.

Cons:

Nothing. Except some rooms face a wall. Nice to have a room with a view.

Pros:

Friendly staff, very nice room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were soft and clean. A conveinent location if you're interested in taking a ferry to the islands like Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. We didn't eat the breakfast food provided by the hotel but there is a separate restaurant in the lobby. The restaurant was phenomenal and serves great, fresh dishes.

Convenient and friendly
Pros:

I had a great experience with The NBHH! From the moment I walked through the doors and was greeted by Alexandria! She was so friendly and kind, made me feel like I was visiting friends! She wrote down recommendations for meals and took the time to direct me to the parking area. She is a delight! Would visit again just because of her! Location is convenient, quick walk to the ferry and lots of restaurants nearby. Thanks for making my visit so pleasant.

Nice but noisy
Pros:

Nice facility, nice room, good location.
HOWEVER, we found the city to be very noisy. Obviously this isn’t the fault of the hotel, but it definitely affected the quality of our experience.
