Breakfast was expensive, had much better. Buffett food seems to have been out for some time and there was a fly in the yogurt!

It was fantastic, we had a superior room and the facilities were incredible. It's been very hot so the air con was very much appreciated. Staff are fantastic and can't do enough to help.
We couldn't get the TV to connect to the Network so we're unable to connect our phone or go onto the Smart Apps. But no real issue as there were the normal channels which worked fine.
The check in process took ages. Two queues with us standing on stairs, the staff opened a third queue but only took people from the queue nearest to them so we waited far longer than others who had come in after us. We have stayed before and the check in was the same then.
The room was lovely and comfortable! The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. The location was excellent.
I could hear my next door neighbors shouting around midnight but those are rude guests, not the hotel’s fault! The only problem we had is that the air conditioner was complicated to adjust and then shut off twice during the night, and I woke up very hot and had to get up and switch it back on. It might be better to switch to a simpler air conditioner controller with less options — maybe a previous guest had set a timer?
Location was good, room was clean, breakfast was very good. Staff nice.
Bar prices extortionate. Should offer a discount for hotel guests. £22 for a small glass of wine and a single shot with Pepsi max is disgusting - day light robbery. Had one drink there and will never again.
Given the current heatwave, (32 degrees on the day) the description that all the rooms had ac was a big factor in booking this hotel however I do not feel the ac was adequate. A very light gentle flow of cool air coming from the vents did not really do the trick to cool the room adequately and you couldn’t feel the air unless you put your hand up to the vents. As we were on a high floor we had no windows to open. Never have I experienced such a weak ac system where one had been installed. The room felt cool by morning time but trying to go to sleep was a hot mess. Maybe it is adequate most of the year round and to be fair the heat at the moment is the exception to the norm but at the time of the stay, the ac system wasn’t great for us.
The TV - didn’t have many channels. No sign of ITV. There was also a ‘movie’ option but you click on it and it says you’re not connected to the network with no apparent way to connect to said network. Radio stations on the TV also didn’t work. Would have been nice to have a smart TV that had Netflix etc so I could log into my accounts on the various apps that even the most basic smart TV has these days. I also set an alarm on the TV for a wake up call in which the TV was supposed to come on at a certain time to wake you up … didn’t work.
The mini fridge was not cold at all and didn’t keep our drinks / sandwiches cold.
View from the room was lovely. We were in 804. Had a particularly good view of nice sunset over the country hills - you could see a fair distance over to winter hill.
The location is great. Beds very comfortable. Staff very friendly and attentive.
The restaurant was a let down on this visit, the breakfast has changed from table service to buffet. Very average. Also had lunch, it was frozen food warmed up, not the standard we have experienced on past visits.

Las habitaciones de la torre redonda son muy amplias, bien decoradas y limpias con unas vistas espectaculares.
La ubicación es estupenda, y aunque tenia mis dudas de estar tan cerca de la estación de tren, porque en la mayoria de ciudades son zonas de paso y un poco dejadas; fue todo una grata sorpresa. Personal recepcion y desayuno muy amable y atentos.
