Great hotel great location very good restaurant and excellent food. Very friendly staff.
Leaving.
La ubicación, cerca de todo y muy bien comunicado. La habitación era muy grande y bonita, las camas muy cómodas, el personal súper atento y amable. El desayuno súper completo. Nos ha gustado todo.
No hay nada q no nos haya gustado.
Room was very clean and spacious, shower was great, and staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location from Victoria Station, and easy walking around city centre.
I wish the shower had some kind of curtain or barrier, as it was inevitable to get water all over the floor.
We had a fantastic stay, and a huge part of that was thanks to Faiza at the front desk! From the second we arrived, she went above and beyond for us. Not only did she arrange an early check-in so we could settle in after our long journey up North, but she also took the time to map out the local spots to visit during our trip.
The location is absolutely spot-on, making it super easy to get around, and the rooms are beautifully decorated.
I did not have breakfast
Good clean room.
Perfect central location.
Good breakfast with a good choice of English and continental.
Reception team were not welcoming. No eye contact. The male receptionist was checking his mobile phone during our check in.
The price, location, staff, facilities and modern interior
lack of atmosphere for a city center hotel bar on a saturday night.
We had a four night stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel is great for city centre shopping and eating out. My sister had a room on floor 11 with great views our room was on the 1st floor in the older part of the hotel .We didn't have such a great view and our room was considerably smaller but it was still a very nice room.
The food at breakfast was good but the coffee was terrible apart from that I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I have stayed at multiple IHG hotels, including this one two weeks ago, so I expected a much better experience. After our first night's stay, we specifically asked the receptionist before heading out for the day to ensure that our bed sheets and towels were changed. We were assured that this would be done, but when we returned, neither the sheets nor the towels had been changed. In addition, the TV did not work throughout our stay, and the toilet did not flush properly. When raising these issues with the receptionist he was extremely rude and quite aggressive in his tone. As he was when we checked out. Very unprofessional and not what is acceptable Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially considering the standards I have come to expect from IHG hotels.
We stayed in Indigo Hotel Manchester Victoria Station for 5 nights 23-28 July 2026. On Saturday 25 July 2026, we went out. We locked our suitcases with padlocks (which we do everyday we've stayed at the hotel). When we returned to the hotel in the evening and wanted to open one of the suitcase, we noticed that the padlock was tampered with - we couldn't open the padlock with the key and we noticed that the padlock key hole was badly tempered with, like something was used to bang the padlock. This incidence was reported to Reception/ hotel management, and they sent someone to have a look, she examine padlocked, acknowledged padlock had been tempered with, she took pictures. She, & assistant then prompted, broke the padlock, as key was no longer able to unlock padlock & the replaced with a new padlock - which they gave us, and then informed us that, this would be investigated.
On Monday morning 27 July, two people knocked on our door saying that they were investigating the incidence and would let us know the outcome. We heard nothing from them about the outcome. Myself and my wife had to go to Reception to find out the outcome of their investigation. We met the Shift Manager, who said that it was only the cleaner & ourselves (guest) that gained entrance to the room on the day. He said it could not be the cleaner because she had been working with them for 5 years and they asked her. But the question remains, who gained entry to the room to tamper with our suitcase padlock - it couldn't have been us, could it?
We requested a copy of the report for the investigation, the shift manager promised to email us the summary of what occurred and their investigation - although he was asking why and we informed him it was required for records. So far, shift manager has not emailed report of investigations, which we are still expecting.
The customer service, was great especially Jane and Faiza. Both were very helpful and professional, I would rate them 5 out of 5, for being professional in their customer service.
The Shift Manager on Monday evening (27/7/26) wasn't really helpful, & would give him 2 out of 5 for effort.
Location was fantastic, with amenities as shops, trams, football museum shopping centres etc locally accessible.
Atmosphere good, ambiance & views, excellent, rooms good size and value for money. Cleanliness - good.
