Islandia Beach Resort

Nice place. Lovely sunset. The staff was really friendly and helpfull. The food was also good.

The resort is located right by the sea, next to a beach. The area is very calm and quiet. We recommend you to rent a motorbike from the resort, which we did, to get around the island. The rooms have everything you need, as well as air conditioning, roof fan and warm water shower. The restaurant has limited opening hours, so make sure to buy your drinks and food before 9pm. However, the food and the drinks were above our expectations and for affordable prices. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Wer es ruhig haben will ist hier genau richtig. Der Strand ist ruhig gelegen und man kann sich ausruhen. Dafür muss man etwas länger fahren wenn man ins Geschehen will. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und über die Preise für Essen und Trinken kann man nicht klagen.

Chambres ou plutot maison tres grande avec terrasse vue sur mer.
C'est assez loin de la route et donc plus calme.
Le service est plutot aleatoire par contre

Rapport qualité prix imbattable. Les bungalows sont super propres, la plage privée également et le personnel est adorable.

整體環境不錯,房內有蟲, 但這是無法避免的.因為有樹林. 房間大, 渡假村沙灘很美, 員工樂於助人, 但離市區遠, 碼頭到渡假村嘟嘟車 $500. 可代租機車, 但一定要記得帶駕照, 下次去還是會住的.

Cool mountain and see breeze together in one place ...refreshing...surroundings very quiet and serene, but the entry dirt road to the resort could be better...little uphill, some areas are bumpy...you can get lost if you come at night..

Awesome staff!!! They really made us feel at home. Its very good value for what you are spending. The cottage on the beach is so awesome because you wake up right on the beach. No aircon in the Beach front room. I didnt mind because nice breeze. The other rooms that arent on the beach have aircon. Most comfortable hammocks ever! Its a publci beacj so you get a local or two passing by and maybe a fisherman but it was the most relaxing vacation ever. Loved it!!! Thank you to Gretchen, Ding, Bubbles, Ching and everyone ese!

The location of this, so called, resort is a 30 minute drive from the nearest town. There is no tv, nor air con in the room. The wifi is very slow, and not reliable.

The beach is trashy, and difficult to walk barefoot because of the ridged volcano rocks.
The pictures will fool you; once you arrive and walk around. For the price, there are several other nicer hotels closer to prettier beaches and restaurants in the Siquijor area.

I stayed at Islandia for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. This was my third time on Siquijor and I was eager stay somewhere new. I wanted to stay in the San Juan area, but off the main strip. So Islandia was perfect. I drove out to the resort and looked at the rooms before before I booked and I was pleasantly surprised! The resort looked better in real life than in the photos I saw online. What drew me to the place were the clean, new looking rooms and up-to-date facilities. In real life, they are exactly that--and, the rooms are both immaculate and spacious. The cottages have bamboo furniture which adds a nice touch. I absolutely loved the big woven hammocks in the coconut palm grove along the beach. I enjoyed some lazy afternoons and watched some vibrant sunsets in that area. All in all, Islandia is a breathtaking place. The beach is great for swimming in the morning and tidepooling in the evening. The area is very serene and lush. I recommend this resort for people who want to be near the main strip but still off the beaten path. The owner and staff do a great job maintaining this place and it shows. I stayed here 4 days and loved every minute of it.
