Affordable clean hotel, good public transportation to Florence: trains operate hourly, 35 min ride
Pros:

• Affordable price: Much cheaper compared to hotels in central Florence
• Public transport: every hour, trains go to directly from Rufina --> Florence. It takes ~35 mins by train to Florence (4€ one way). 8 min walk from the Hotel to the Train Station
• Friendly host, responsive and kind
• Clean Hotel
• Free coffee
• Kitchen (fridge, microwave, dishes)

Cons:

• Car noise: Hotel rooms are facing the main street with! There is a lot of car noise and car traffic. Beware if you are noise sensitive. Bring your earplugs.

The restaurant was not open on Mon and neither were there other close by restaurants open
We drove a few km to Da Marino restaurant which was very economical
The bathroom was small but new
The room was basic but quiet and comfortable
The staff was very friendly and helpful
There is an AMAZING bakery a few steps away
