Great value for money, great location.
Pros:

The central location near to the night market and lake which we really enjoyed walking around. The staff were delightful n super helpful

Cons:

For us the breakfast was rather limited but that’s just our taste. Not a complaint

One of the hotels that don't 'ambush' you to leave them a positive review
Pros:

All the staff is quite courteous and helpful.
Hotel won't charge you extra for anything.
When they book you your taxi, you pay directly to the driver. And the rate is the same if you booked any taxi yourself.

Cons:

Plenty of walking and climbing steps around town for elderly person like me. Luckily, there are plenty of Grab cars around.

Bad experience, but easily rectified
Pros:

Lovely hotel, very grand in its day in a quiet location above the town. Just 5minutes walk to market. Staff were exceptional and everything was spotlessly clean.

Cons:

Unfortunately night 2 and 3 the hotel hosted a teenage end of year team building group of 50 or so. Screaming / shouting and loud noises lasted into the early hours making sleep impossible and it was a general distressing experience. We understand. Kids will be kids, no problem and a large booking is good business but I suggest the hotel should not be booking other guests at the same time, Shame.

Would definitely stay again and recommend
Pros:

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was bigger than most, with a good view from top floor. Great location with lots of places to eat around and short walk to the night market. Breakfast was good
