Lovely stay although the booking.com description was confusing and incomplete, and it cost me more
Pros:

Very lovely room with two types of private bath. Large and pretty comfortable with a small scenic area. It was very comfortable and the private baths were extraordinary. Convenient location near Izumo Taisha. Very high end experience.

Cons:

The information for booking was incomplete, and I would have stayed elsewhere had the information been more complete. First, apparently I booked a room for one person instead of two and while the room can certainly fit two people, I essentially had to pay double to add my husband. I’m glad they accommodated me but the price was outrageous. Second I booked a room without dinner included in the price. The booking said it was with meals not just breakfast only, so that was frustrating. Third, breakfast is only washoku, or traditional Japanese food. I didn’t enjoy much of the food and would have skipped it had I known. These issues are not the fault of the hotel, the booking.com description did not include enough information to enable me to make an informed decision and that is a BIG PROBLEM. Last but not least, there was a pretty large spider web at eye level near the entrance, which is bound to happen but I don’t think is acceptable for a room that cost me over $1000 for a night.

優雅で贅沢な時間でした！
Pros:

良いお値段だけあって、とても快適な空間でした！
至れり尽くせり。お部屋の檜風呂がサイコーでした！コーヒー豆と道具、お茶の鉄瓶まであり、楽しませていただきました。

Cons:

特にありませんが、夜、廊下から賑やかな声が聞こえたり、家電？の音なのか、気になって眠りが浅く感じました。

Pros:

露天風呂が少し狭かったが何種類のお風呂が有って楽しかった。館内の照明が夜中にもかかわらず煌々として感動しました。あいにくサービスの夜鳴きそばは食べられなかったがアイスが自由に食べられたので良かったです。従業員の方の応対も丁寧で好感が持てた。部屋にマッサージ機も有り最高です。

Cons:

５種類の貸切風呂の趣向は良いが待ち時間が４５分は長すぎると思います。２０分位にしてもいいと思う。それくらいなら待てます。

概ね満足です。ありがとうございました。
Pros:

朝食夕食付きでしたが、ご飯がほんっとうに美味しくて、特に夕食はお腹ぱんぱんでしたが頑張って詰め込んだほど美味しかったです！
出雲大社から近かったのもとてもありがたく、早朝参拝をさせていただきました。
また、スタッフの方が丁寧に対応してくださり、チェックイン時間でお忙しいにも関わらず親切にしてくださり大変ありがたかったです。
ありがとうございました。

Cons:

食事処が半個室に呼び鈴等もなく、スタッフの方が前を通らないとお呼び出来なかったのが不便でした。
思ったよりお部屋が普通でしたが、泊まりたかったお部屋が予約段階でもうあいてなかったので仕方ないかなと。
また、部屋の窓が片側にしか襖がなく、カーテン等もなかったので外から丸見えなのに驚きました。
目の前に高い建物がないとはいえ、さすがにカーテンくらいは欲しいなと思いました。
また、貸切風呂も予約等がないので、いつあいてるかもわからないし、いつ行っても誰か入っていて、かと言って前で待つのも嫌やし…と結局入れませんでした。
楽しみの一つにしていたのでとても残念でした。

お食事は丁寧な懐石料金でしたが、素泊まりとすれば少しお高めでした。
Pros:

出雲大社にも近くて良かったけど、部屋は写真と違って狭い印象でした。

Cons:

お風呂が少し小さい。
サウナの水風呂が無いのが残念でした。
