Stay across the street for half the price-this property offers nothing to make it worth the premium!

The location was convenient for our trip

Cons:

Location was convenient for our stay. Frankly the expectations baseball on room cost was very much out of alignment with what was delivered.
The "pool area" was a small enclosure with a "spool" more than a pool- off the lobby overlooking the main road.
Our room was small, the bathroom showed its age with a loose toilet seat and an ill fitting paper holder-while clean, it had a very aged appearance. The king bed was very firm and the chair/ottoman was even firmer. Our room overlooked the bar next door.
This is hardly what I was expecting from an IHG property for $350+/night. The "plentiful" parking came with a $10 surcharge. Then my room key wouldn't work and it took a while for them to find my check-in form to reissue a new key.
Overall the property was decent but the value was abysmal.

Pros:

Location was perfect, walking distance to several restaurants.

Cons:

The shower has a weird, half door thing that isn’t stationary. Makes showering cold and water gets everywhere.

Easy access to St. Augustine if you are able to walk and hotel is fine for a short visit to the area
