Excellent hotel! Clean very comfortable rooms, charming with modern bathrooms, outstanding service! The outstanding Welsh staff are very warm, welcoming and helpful! Delicious made to order breakfast. Easy to walk all around Camarthen from the Spilman Hotel. Would definitely stay there again & recommend to others!

Very big and nice room, with plenty of storage and heathing control. The cook to order breakfast is great, and staff super nice. Very centrally located. Would definitely stay again.

Welcoming and friendly, as always. The room was ready early and we were given such a warm reception. Superbly clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our breakfast and the dinner recommendations for our next stay.

Cannot fault this hotel. I've stayed here multiple times for work and would never stay elsewhere. A great price for really generous sized clean rooms with a fridge, smart TV, good tea and coffee selection and a great breakfast with friendly and welcoming staff.

This is my second visit to The Spillman. My first visit was excellent as I was given a room in the main building. However this time we were given a room in an annex. Whilst it appeared clean there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and there was a musty smell in the room.
Also just to make others aware the carpark has a very tight opening and because of the bollards on the pavement adjacent to the opening its very difficult to negotiate with a SuV and larger.
Apart from that the staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.

Really friendly staff- made us feel very welcome. Clean modern rooms. Great breakfast. Safe parking with electric charging points if needed. Within easy walking distance of station and bus transport. Lovely shops and galleries on doorstep. Great place to stay

We stayed for one night whilst travelling through. The staff we met were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was fresh, tasteful, well equipped and very clean. We had a full cooked breakfast which was perfectly cooked and the service was faultless. We would definitely stay again and have no hesitation in recommending The Spilman Hotel.

We marked down comfort slightly from Excellent to Good because we had a very hot night (August) the fan in room was very welcome but not sure if our mattress was memory foam or not but,although comfortable, we did find it hot to sleep on. Just our personal preference.

Booked this hotel as the rest of our large group were staying at The Ivy Bush Hotel opposite, where they had been recommended.

We were not disappointed, the hotel was beautifully decorated and everywhere spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was included and was scrummy.

Our friends at The Ivy Bush were extremely disappointed with their accommodation and evening meal and next time will book the Spilman Hotel.

Courteous and helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast. Clean. Our room faced King Street and tended to be noisy late at night.

What a great hotel to stay in fabulous large room No 8 very clean and comfortable, will stay again. Just be careful of trying to get in to the hotel car park it vey tight!!

Great location. Lovely accommodations for a great price.

Large spacious room. Fan, hair dryer, iron, kettle and a fridge in the room. The beds were comfortable and lovely bedding. Big open shower with shower gel, shampoo and hand wash supplied. Breakfast is cooked to order plus all the usual fruit, cereal, pastries. The car park is a tight squeeze to get in, plenty of spaces. Great location in the centre of the town. Although we barely heard any noise from in our room. It was a lovely stay, we will definitely be back for our next stay in Carmarthen.
