Room was not at a level pf a five star. Ambiance too dark.
Great beds, excellent facilities, especially the hairdryer. Room was spacious and the hotel was luxurious and smelled lovely. Fabulous bar and cocktails. Great staff.
We couldn’t find a way to switch on/off the lights to the bathroom,which was open to the bedroom, without having the bedroom lights on too. This was an issue at night time.
Good stay overall. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options, and the staff were consistently helpful and attentive. A special mention to the concierge on the first floor, who was particularly friendly and went out of their way to assist with recommendations and arrangements.

I am obsessed with this hotel! It is absolutely gorgeous, an oasis in the madness of Myeongdong. The staff truly set the stage when you get here from Luna's kindness to Lukas' friendliness and efficiency. Rooms are well thought out and the Jr Suite is so spacious for our family of 3. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Absolutely looking forward to our stay when we return.
We planned our honeymoon in Korea, with 5 days in Seoul at the Escape hotel. First of all the place has an amazing atmosphere and style from belle époque which gives the hotel a soul and makes it unique in the city.
The staff at the reception is very helpful, professional and caring, especially Lucas and Jason. They provided accommodation and they had appreciated attentions.
The rooms are well designed and decorated and very comfortable.
The hotel has 2 nice restaurants and and an amazing bar at the top called Marque d'Amour. Their cocktails are remarkable and very creative. Once more, the staff there were very caring and professional.
They also had a kind attention because we were on honeymoon, which is really appreciated and made us really feel that they cared about this occasion that is very special to us.
We will definitely come back to Escape hotel next time we visit Seoul and will keep beautiful memories for our honeymoon.
