A very well appointed hotel

We only stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express Newcastle as we were making our way from the Blue Mountains to Brisbane, but we would have liked to have stayed longer. We had just come from a fairly basic motel and the Holiday Inn Express felt luxurious to us! We appreciated the easy parking, the breakfast was nice, as were the staff. The room was very comfortable, and the location was good. We found a lovely Thai restaurant nearby (The Curve) and had an evening walk after dinner - the property seems to be near the university and we felt very safe.All in all a great place to stay!

Cons:

Het hotel zat vol, maar onvoldoende personeel om dit bij te benen tijdens ontbijt waardoor alles steeds op was of niet aanwezig. Bv geen bestek/servies, geen brood of variatie ervan etc. Was steeds niet tijdig bijgevuld waardoor personeel en hotelgasten achter de feiten aanliepen. Wij hebben maar een kop

To stuffy no fresh air airconditon poor TV not available one night breakfast includes but was poor no variety nit enough clean cutery I seen one guy go back to his roo. And return with cutlery waited long time for a couple of toasted sandwiches
