Túlárazott, számlát nem kaptam, alapvetően nem ajánlom.
Pros:

A személyzet próbál segíteni, amiben fontos lett volna, abban nem kaptam segítséget csak javaslatot, hogy telefonálgassak Európával órákat.

Cons:

Ez a szállás nem hotel minőség, Európában esetleg egy hostelnek felel meg. Számlát kértem, a booking szerint a szállásnak kell kiadni, a szállás szerint a bookingnak, soha többé nem, foglalok ilyen módon szállást. Túlárazott és rossz minőség. Szellőztetni nem lehet, a légkondi úgy zúg, hogy nem lehet aludni tőle, nagyon hangos, mert alig van hangszigetelés. A reggeli minden nap ugyanaz, a tojásrántotta porból van, egészségtelen és olcsó ételek. Nincs egy darab felvágott vagy zöldség sem kitéve. A wifi időnként ledob, nem érteni, hogy miért.

I lived it. If you got your own car or Uber cash, it is the PERFECT place.
Pros:

Very clean. They have breakfast fr. They have nice staff. There’s a nearby place to dine. Rooms are very pretty. There’s a speaker in there. You can’t hear next door neighbors. I had so much privacy there

Cons:

It’s far from Ottawa downtown. But that’s my bad. I didn’t really check before I booked it.

Nice but noisy.
Pros:

Breakfast was good and varied, access to the hotel was good.

Cons:

The single glazed windows did not stop the traffic noise. The beds were far too soft and resulted in back ache in the morning.
The air con was complicated and noisy, but effective.

A very pleasant hotel.
Pros:

This hotel got a complete revamp not that long ago so everything has a pleasant modern clean feel. Our King room away from the highway was big and very quiet. Two odd things about the room: 1) a chair that was HUGE - about 3 feet wide and 3 feet from backrest to knee point it might work for an overweight Basketball player but was unusable for a "normal" person. 2) The bathroom sink was very high, perfect for said basketball player but a struggle for anyone much less than 6 feet tall.

Good stay
Pros:

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping, however, was not great: the empty Kleenex box was not refilled and garbage was not collected. In addition, the room above walked very loudly, and although the hotel can't force them to not stomp around, the noise travelled surprisingly well through the floor.

Items Went Missing… be careful here
Pros:

I had a very disappointing experience at GLō Best Western Kanata Ottawa West (December 5, 2025).

During my stay, a backpack containing personal belongings, including brand-name clothing, with an estimated value of approximately $800–$1000 CAD, went missing. I clearly remember a staff member handling one of my bags, but it was never returned to me.

When I contacted the hotel, there was little to no effort made to properly investigate the situation, and no clear answers were provided.

I have since filed a police report regarding this incident.

This is very concerning, especially given the lack of accountability and follow-up from both the hotel and Best Western.

I would strongly recommend being cautious with your personal belongings if staying here.

Glo Suite was amazing
Pros:

Experience was great - suite was fantastic! Only issue was the complete screw up of our reservation, which hopefully will be sorted out by BW later
