J7 Hotel Iloilo

The room smells bad.i have headache.
They should spray something or put a freshener so when you enter the room the smell is good.
It was a bad 1 night stay for us unfortunately.

Wonderful place

The hotel looks nice and fancy from the outside, checking in is easy. NO parking spot at the front for customer's checking in. Ground floor hallway going to the family rooms, smells so bad, very musty like molds. The room and bathroom are clean but needs improvement especially giving extra toiletries in the room.

I'm not going to lie. If it wasn't for the roosters in the vacant block next to the hotel, I would have given the hotel a five-star rating.

This hotel has it all. It's modern and comfortable. The staff are very polite and helpful. Even the kitchen staff are helpful. The staff from the kitchen was happy to answer my mother's questions about the food. The food in the restaurant is nice, well portioned, and fairly priced.

This hotel is in a good location, but it may be new as some of the taxi drivers had not heard of it.

My family has stayed in this hotel twice, and both times, it was a positive experience. J7 provides a straightforward service without any hassles. The staff were happy to extend our stay each time our plans changed.

100% would be happy to take my family back to this hotel again.

It was nice and cozy. Interior is nice. I like the size of the room. However, the white towels provided were old and grayish. The room and beddings smells moldy. The front entrance was crowded with bystanders and vendors when we arrived in the evening, which makes it feel unsafe.

Very spacious room

I found the location to be extremely convenient. The hotel is close to SM City Iloilo and the terminal, which made getting around very easy. Having a 7/11 nearby was also handy for quick snacks and essentials. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. However, I did notice that the soundproofing could be improved, as I could hear some noise from outside. Overall, it was a good choice for a quick stay with the convenience of nearby shops and transport.

My friends and I decided to escape our hectic and challenging lives by taking a trip to Iloilo. Finding a cozy yet affordable hotel was always at the top of our list. During our search online, we stumbled across a charming budget-friendly hotel located right in the city center. It was conveniently situated across the street from SM City Iloilo and just a short distance from a well-known large hotel.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive doorman and security guard, who greeted us with friendly smiles and assisted with our luggage. The hotel lobby was quaint and inviting, filled with soft lighting, and it exuded a pleasant fragrance. The front desk staff welcomed us with cheerful smiles, although they first apologized for the strong odor in the air caused by ongoing renovations in some parts of the hotel. They also informed us that we had received an upgrade to our room.

Once we entered our room, which we accessed using our hotel card key, we were pleased to find it spacious enough for three people. It featured one queen-sized bed and a single bed. Being someone who pays close attention to bathrooms, I immediately inspected the restroom, which met my standards. They provided a good range of toiletries and dental supplies, along with an ample supply of towels.

We did encounter a few minor issues, such as an unpleasant paint odor, a non-functioning pin light, an unplugged mini-fridge, and insufficient coffee supplies. However, I must commend the hotel staff for their rapid response; as soon as we contacted the front desk, they attended to our concerns promptly. The housekeeping team was also wonderfully attentive, fulfilling our many requests for toilet paper and extra towels.

Overall, our experience was much more enjoyable than some of the reviews we had read from previous guests. The primary downsides included the weak water pressure when switched to hot and the dim lighting in both the room and bathroom. Additionally, the vanity area could have used more lighting, making it challenging to apply makeup—especially for women.

On our last day, we finally decided to try the hotel restaurant, and we only wished we had explored it earlier. The breakfast dishes we ordered were delicious, and the portion sizes were quite reasonable for the price. The service from the staff here was also remarkable.

In summary, I would give this hotel a perfect score of 10 for its outstanding service and staff, sparkling clean rooms, and delightful ambiance.

Staff are all nice and helpful. Very quite and rooms are big. The only problem is that you have to pay for the Ice if you request for it. They charge 25 pesos for small bucket of ice.

Very clean and comfortable room.

It was clear that management was working hard with employees to be pleasant and helpful. Very nice. Great fresh fruit shakes. Some renovations were going on during my stay, so smells of paint and glues, etc. in the lobby. This room had a balcony and it was nice to relax with fresh air, However, confused roosters next door did not know when the sun was rising and were crowing through the day and night. Over all, it was a good experience, only minor disturbances.

Clean, bathroom are big, bedroom has Terrace.

Located walking from largest shopping mall in iloilo and accessible to all business establishments which is wonderful

Check in was a breeze as I arrived at night. The room is big and clean.. the linens were clean and toiletries supplied was sufficient for occupants.. conveniently located across SM Iloilo in mandurriao.. will stay here again if traveling to this city
