A black eye for Marriott . Would never come back.
Pros:

I can't say anything was a positive here. Very disappointing Marriott property. Terrible location under overpass and right on street, area is old and run down looking and doesn't give the feel of being safe to explore.
Our first room had feces smeared on the toilet lid. We had just walked in and immediately called front desk and they moved us from the river view to the front noisy side. No complimentary waters offered at check in as was supposed to happen, no soap in shower dispenser the three days we were there, maid service every other day we found out when we asked next day why room not serviced. So you have to go to desk to get more coffee, cups, towels etc.
Only saw one person working the restaurant for breakfast, so we went out to eat.

Very good place to stay. Easy parking. Recommended!

The facility was conveniently located for our trip. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were very happy with our stay. Recommended for any visit to the area.

The neighborhood is very urban, safe but not scenic.

Great location, great front desk, call to housekeeping
Pros:

We came to Troy for business and vacation. Location is great - short walk to town. Front desk very helpful. When we got to our room, table was dirty and area around sofa was in need of vacuuming. Notified front desk and this was fixed immediately. Nice to have bistro available for dinner and breakfast. Service was also great here.

Nice people… property needs help
Pros:

While the staff at the hotel are lovely, polite, and welcoming, the housekeeping staff must be stretched very thinly… one of the beds in my room was dirty… food and hair in the sheets. Bummer… This is courtyard like no other.

Mattresses are abit old - definite sag - worn. I also was on the street side this time and it’s much louder. Could use extra blankets too.
