"Simple cleaning" is a request system.
Please put out a cleaning request tag in front of the door if you wish.
Simple cleaning means collection of face towels, bath towels, bath mats, nightwear, and trash in trash cans.

In addition to the above simple cleaning, "room cleaning" will be performed once a week.
Bed making, changing towels and nightwear, replenishing room equipment, cleaning the room, and collecting garbage from the trash can.

Since our hotel is located in the shopping district of Shinkyogoku-dori, it is not possible to come directly by car.
If you reach by a taxis, please get off near the entrance of Shinkyogoku-dori on the Shijo-dori side (about 1 minute on foot).
There is no parking lot, but please feel free to contact us as we will guide you to a nearby coin parking lot.

Great staff and location
Pros:

The staff were incredible. They helped us in multiple occasions - from finding a table at a popular spot to guiding us on how to get to Osaka without taking the Shinkansen.
Location was good as well. The subway system in Kyoto is not as great as in Tokyo, but you can get buses and taxis very easily by just walking a bit from the hotel.

Cons:

Cleaning was not the best. They do change towels and garbage bags every day if you request it, but that’s about it. If you are staying for more than a couple of nights, that can be annoying.

Great Location. Great Stay.
Pros:

I had an excellent 5 days at the Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sakaiza Hotel.

The hotel is located off of Main Street, however, taxis are not able to pull up to the front door. It’s a very short walk on a covered walkway to reach the hotel entrance.

I reserved a premier room and it exceeded expectations. It was very spacious with a small kitchen and a large table.

The service was excellent throughout my stay.

They do not offer breakfast option, but there are many cafés nearby. They do offer coffee drinks and sake in the lobby at no charge.

I would highly recommend the hotel.

Quiet & peaceful hotel in the middle of everything!
Pros:

helpful staff, very clean rooms and hallways, excellent air-conditioning, comfortable beds and pillows fluffy towels. Free coffee in the lobby, convenient location for dining and shopping. good selection of personal amenities.

Cons:

A tiny bit hard to gind the first time- just in the arcade- our taxi driver pointed us to our hotel. trust google maps and your driver!

Cons:

Es gibt (zumindest im Standard Zimmer) kein Doppelbett sondern es sind zwei zusammen geschobene einzelbetten- wussten wir leider nicht, sonst hatten wir es anders gebucht.

Our room worked out great , and the location was perfect
