Since our hotel is located in the shopping district of Shinkyogoku-dori, it is not possible to come directly by car.
If you reach by a taxis, please get off near the entrance of Shinkyogoku-dori on the Shijo-dori side (about 1 minute on foot).
There is no parking lot, but please feel free to contact us as we will guide you to a nearby coin parking lot.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Fabulous location staff and cleanliness
Pros:

Fabulous location in centre of everything. Near markets and Gion area and restaurants and bars. Rooms were large and extremely clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and kind - helped us send our luggage on to Tokyo. Thank you. I would definitely stay here again

100% recommended for combining comfort and convenience with accessibility for sightseeing!
Pros:

The property combines convenience and accessibility with peace and serenity. The Kawaramachi subway entrance is literally a second away. The bustling Shinkyogoku marketplace is literally right downstairs, yet the hotel somehow manages to keep maintain tranquility. The free coffee/tea and sake were huge bonuses. Did I mention the in unit washer/dryer?? That was like PERFECT especially because we had been traveling so much. I swear, if a hotel has “Tokyu Stay” in the name, just book it. Don’t ask any questions. Just book it. It’s perfect!

Cons:

There’s nothing I disliked. My only recommendation is a clothing iron. We didn’t have an iron/board in our room but that was next to nothing.

If in Kyoto stay here
Pros:

A very warm welcome was appreciated. The hotel is in a great location but slightly tucked away behind a shopping mall. It is beautifully designed, with a lovely calm ambiance. The lobby drinks were much appreciated. Lovely staff. The room was a good size and has a kitchen area plus washing machine. The bathroom has high quality fittings - the bath was great! The bed was very comfortable. Overall, this was one of the nicest hotels in our Japan trip. Fantastic value for money. Highly recommended.

スタッフもとても感じが良くて
何年か前に泊まった時より冷蔵庫が大きくなり冷凍室も別でついていたので　アイスを買って冷やせたり　冷蔵庫が広くなってて錦市場で買ったもの冷やしたり☝🏻重宝しました
部屋にはドラム式洗濯機もあり　毎日ノンストレスでした😊空気清浄機もあるところが良かったです

this place is perfect for anyone with longer stay because you have washing machine (with washing liquid provided) and a microwave and a sink for a quick meal or late night pot noodle. The staffs were very helpful too, they helped us solved many issues. One staffs helped us contacted Booking.com directly because our journey was delayed due to typhoon. Another staff helped us to call a restaurant to reschedule the booking as well
