The staff at the Inn and the restaurant were very friendly and helpful making it a perfect stay!
Pros:

We enjoy small historic inns with the character this brings. We booked the king suite with a fire place and having 2 separate areas was very nice. The adjoining Italian restaurant Basilica was superb as well.

For a continental breakfast the choices were excellent fresh muffins, croissants, cereal, fresh fruit yogurt, choice of herbal teas and good coffee!! Orange juice that tasted like a good quality! We sat in the sun room overlooking Beautiful gardens

Good place with potential to be even better
Pros:

We found our room was spacious and clean with all the necessities. The outdoor deck/balcony overlooked the river but there was no view of the falls. The food in the dining room was very good and nicely presented. We had an exceptional wait person who made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The continental breakfast was plentiful and had a good amount of variety.

Cons:

We were expecting our room to be a Superior King with a corner view but it was not the case. This facility has a lot of potential but it appeared to us that the outdoor landscaping and gardens were not well tended. The flower pots outside the entrance had some very neglected and mostly dead plants - not a good look for a first impression. If you are not able to navigate steep outdoor steps, this would not be the place for you. Overall, this facility has a lot of potential if the owners would paid more attention to the details that could make a stay go from a good rating to wonderful or excellent.

Loved the property. Great view with a really nice balcony to sit out on. It was walking distance to town. Staff were very friendly. Great value which included a very nice breakfast. 😊

The beds were a little uncomfortable.
