Excellent and we would stay there again when making a long journey north.
Pros:

Although a basic room, we were very impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the room and ensuite. The bed was comfortable and additional pillows were provided. There were two double entry card security locks to the building and the same card gave access to the room. The choice of dishes on the breakfast menu were excellent and individually cooked.
It was in a nice area close to a canal which provided a very pleasant evening walk.
We thought the standard was very high and better than a lot of more expensive hotels.

Nice hotel attached to a good family friendly pub.
Pros:

One of the hotels on my Nieces wedding list for guests to her wedding could stay as it was near the wedding venue

Cons:

We had a problem with access key to gain entry to the hotel and our room. It took 4 attempts to sort it out

Good value, friendly staff, very clean
Pros:

The breakfast was perfectly cooked

Cons:

The soap dispensers in the room didn’t hold much soap. There was only one towel but it did say ask for more if needed.
