Everything. Clean, spacious, good bed and pillows, separate toilet/shower, great location near station, fish market, castle and gardens. Of the 7 hotels we have been to this is the best.

Location was great, staff were helpful, onsen was wonderful and it was scrupulously clean.
The breakfast. It was the same every day. I also didn't enjoy the teas or coffee that were available.
The room was small but very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and offered excellent value for the price. The rooftop onsen was a lovely surprise, and the location was fantastic — everything was within walking distance.
