Mooi centraal gelegen hotel
Pros:

Centrale ligging , midden in het centrum . Je kan de wagen parkeren onder het hotel met behulp van een lift .

Cons:

Door de centrale ligging , enkele keren per nacht wakker geworden door uitgaande mensen die zitten te roepen / zingen midden in de nacht . Ontbijt was uitgebreid maar de eieren hebben totaal geen smaak . De service bij het ontbijt was echt niet goed . We verbleven er 3 dagen en 3 dagen was het ontbijt onderbemand . Veel tafels bleven onafgeruimd , mensen wachtten aan de ingang van de ontbijtzaal om binnen te mogen ..

Chic, spotless, perfectly located stay with great style
Pros:

Such a gem. Áurea Hotel truly impressed. Chic design, spotlessly clean, and the location couldn’t be better. I’d definitely love to try their other locations. Only thing is the bathroom door was a bit too thin, so you can hear everything lol. A little more privacy protection would be perfect.

Location and Staff were simply exceptional
Pros:

The location of the hotel was amazing, right across from the cathedral. The staff could not have been nicer or more responsive. Special thanks to Adela at the front desk who moved me to an upgraded room when there was an issue with the thermostat in my original room. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The room(s) were quiet and well appointed.

Other special touches were a bathtub and a yoga mat in my room! So rare to find a tub in a European bathroom!!

Cons:

The hot food on the breakfast buffet was sometimes cold. Staffing at breakfast was limited and there seemed to be no one monitoring the dining area on several days. The selection of food items at breakfast was good.

The stay at this hotel was perfect.
Pros:

The location was perfect;: walking distance to all the sights and to many, many restaurants. The staff was very helpful and caring, and the room checked all my boxes. The room was spotless and quiet, the beds were comfortable, the size of the room was very adequate, the decor was very pleasant, , the lighting was perfect, the toiletries were upscale and excellent and there was a coffee maker as well as a hot water carafe with a good supply of coffees and teas. We loved it!

Cons:

Absolutely no complaints!
