Inn Home Hotel Muar

Room clean, nice shower with reasonable size room. No carpet in room, only tile. But it's ok. Has TV, aircond, fairly good bed. But room not sound proof. So you can hear foot steps, people talking and plug in at 2am in the morning. Price ok. Short 1 night stay fine. Hotel amongst shop lots building. Parking at basement quiet narrow.

Very central and next to the food street. Lobby is on the 1st floor.

Rooms clean and comfortable. The room I got faces the river, had to pay more to get a river facing room.

Entry and download to carpark is very tight and difficult to move. First slope at entrance is steep, can scratch bottom of the car.

No lift from basement, have to carry bags to G lvl.

The only problem I faced is parking. Their parking facilities are limited and it is only for small sedan car. This put me in trouble to find parking for my car. Rest all are ok. Location is good. But the lobby is in second floor and there is no option for disable people. There are few steps every guests have to take to reach to lift.

Noise room

The hotel is strategically located, facing the Muar River. The famous New Eastern Restaurant (Hainanese chicken chop) is just around the corner. Basement carpark is available (only 1 lane for enter and exit). A RM50 room deposit is required during check-in. One must bring along the TV and air-conditioner remote controllers together with the deposit receipt during check-out to get his/her deposit fully refundable.

The reception counter is located on the first floor of the building. There is a small lift for the guests to go up their rooms. This lift is situated on the ground floor of the building. The guests are required to use their room card to gain access to their room. This is an added security feature. Or else anyone can go up to higher floors in view of the location of the lift.

We booked a room for three adults (Triple Room). However, the slippers, bottled water and toothbrush & toothpaste are only provided for 2 persons. The air-conditioned room is spacious. The bathroom is clean and big too. Our room is located on 4th floor. There is a total of 5 floors in the building. Iron and ironing board, and the hot/cold water dispenser are available on our floor.

Overall, we had a good night stay in this hotel. We love its location and affordable price.

This establishment understands its role as a basic and no-frills hotel perfectly and delivers well in all areas. It had a cosy and comfortable lobby with extremely helpful and accommodating front desk staff.

Stayed in a standard deluxe room and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and well maintained the room was. They offered all the basic amenities and most importantly, the room and toilet was clean and felt fresh. It wasn't perfect (they don't provide hangars, and the entire toilet gets wet with every shower) but overall comfortable.

The hotel is strategically located at the city center and somewhat overlooks the river which offers some good views. Overall a good experience and really great value for money.

The room is quite big , good location , near to local street food .
Do take note the carpark height is only for 1.8m below car ,any taller cars you have to park on the streets .
And street parking is at your own cost 😁

Parking issue

Stayed with family on 14 Sept

Booked with Expedia for a family room (2 queen beds). Surprised to get 1 king bedQ with 1 super single.

I dont feel save staying there. The emergency door was opened all the time.

Room amenities ... very basic. I got towel with a big hole!

Overall i dont enjoy my stay and shall not consider coming back staying here in future.

Kalau bawa MPV, tak boleh parking dalam hotel parking. Kena parking kat luar. Parking kat luar pulak susah banyak kereta. Akhirnya kena parking jauh dengan bawa beg dan segala macam.Pertama dan terakhir duduk disini. Spoiled my family mood.

Room tends to get too hot and stuffy in the afternoon because it's facing the evening sunset

Near town, easy to access food

Very close to all the popular food stalls in Muar, you won't go hungry!

The hotel is very comfort

Hotel was good. Didnt managed to walk around the hotel though. Basically there for 1 night so the basic necessities was there. Towel, shower amenities and coffee. Room was big which is good. However parking was on the down side. Its the basment and parking was cramp abit.

Nice & spacious room. 2 things to highlight 1st when we shut down the ventilator in the bathroom, the beside room ventilator will leaved sucked air back in mine bathroom. For this case, other room was smoking in the bathroom and we had been a passive smoker. Had to always switch on our ventilator. 2nd, not enough parking space for guests. Suggest for others to buy the parking coupons and park your car outside hotel at designated park lot.
