Great place in a highly underrated city!
Pros:

Small, privately owned hotel where you can tell you’re welcomed. Place goes back to Bochum’s heydays, but is freshly renovated, with lots of care. Close to downtown and 5 min from the city’s no 1 attraction, the Bergbaumuseum. Subway is also around the corner for further adventures.

Wir brauchten nur Ü/F und ein ordentliches Zimmer. Das können wir sehr weiter empfehlen.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist relativ zentral. UBahn direkt erreichbar in 50 m. Autolärm war fast garnicht. Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Betten waren nicht durchgelegen. Zimmer sah frisch renoviert aus. Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich. Freundliche Mitarbeiterin! Selbst Parken war optimal.

Wir haben nichts zu meckern!

Kann man empfehlen
Pros:

Kaffeepulver und Wasserkocher war auf dem Zimmer. Somit stand dem ersten Kaffee vor dem eigentlichen Frühstück nichts im Wege. Ich hatte ein Zimmer zur Hofseite, das war sehr ruhig.

Cons:

Ich hatte das erste Zimmer im Gang und somit habe ich die Zwischentür ein paar Mal gehört. Da wurde aber nach dem Bescheid geben des Problems gleich nacharbeiten an der Tür zugesagt

Would stay again!
Pros:

The staff are nice.
The rooms are comfortable and homey. It's quiet, especially because there aren't that many rooms. WiFi works very well. I appreciated the provided electric tea kettle.
Good connection to local transportation. It's an easy walk to the city center and the main train station, but there is also a subway station right at the corner.

Cons:

Nothing bothered me, it was a very good experience. I can't say anything about the breakfast, as I chose not to eat here.
