I had a great experience

Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel was disappointing. The carpet in the room was visibly dirty and stained, which gave the space an unclean feeling from the start. Additionally, the air conditioning did not work, making it very uncomfortable, especially at night. I expected a higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the conditions for future guests.

Meget stort hotel imponerende når man ankommer, men midt i ingenting. Vi skulle bruge hotellet som stop før lufthavnen. Opfylder alle krav til dette. Ved ikke om hotellet er under opbygning eller afvikling.

This was my first trip to China so I had many questions.Vicky helped me so much for the 3 days I was at the hotel. From getting transpotation to help me get cash to tours she was so helpful to me. The room was so comfortable.

Excelente lugar

Nice lobby in large hotel. Shuttle service to airport was prompt and courteous. Did not use other hotel services.

Really weird hotel. Super nice look but not to good. No good food and only about 10 people staying in the massive hotel.

As you enter, you are amazed by the beautiful lobby. Unfortunately it starts to go downhill quickly after that. We checked into our first room on floor six, the whole hotel stank of cigarette smoke and the carpets were worn and the walls were dirty. As soon as we got to our room we asked to be moved to a floor which had a no smoking policy throughout the whole floor. We managed to get a new room and yes they are large, with a decent bathroom (nice shower) and bedroom (mattresses were comfy enough). However in the morning we asked for a porter, which never came and the reception staff were not helpful in the slightest when trying to organise a taxi to the airport. We deliberately choose this hotel due to the shuttle service but they said when we arrived only certain times now function, so be aware.

I think this hotel was a “once upon a time” hotel and has just aged really badly. Would not return.

Good stay close to the airport

Aivan super hyvää ja tehokasta palvelua, mikä oli mahtava juttu lyhyiden lentojen välisten unien kannalta. Huone oli todella tilava ja hieno, ihan ok siistikin, mutta siellä haisi tupakka. Aamiaisvalikoima vaikutti laajalta, ehdittiin ottaa vain nopeasti jotain.

Reception looks great but the room I had looked old and tired with scruffy furniture and a dirty bathroom.

Location was not good unless you are using it for a 1 night stay before heading to the airport.

Restaurant was not good at all. I took the managers recommendation, two bites in and I asked for the bill. Tasted bad/old. Had supper and breakfast from the vending machine.

Bar - there was nobody working there so I asked the front desk if it was open, they said yes the restaurant staff will come serve me. Nobody came. There was a sign in the elevator for a lounge on one of the top floors, decided to take a look. When I got there the door was locked with chains, then all the lights on the floor went out. Pitch black!!! Luckily I had my cell for some light.

In the morning I asked the front desk if they had any recommendations for something to do in the area, they just said “sorry sir, our hotel is not a good location to do anything” and just shrugged her shoulders. I took a 40 minute taxi to get to the closest place to do some shopping/sight seeing.

Reserved and paid for 2 nights, left after one, it was just too inconvenient to do anything.

Overall great experience, very nice room, nice location, and good restaurant. Was a little surprised front-desk staff didnt speak any english, given this hotel is very close to a major international airport (shanghai pudong), but staff was friendly and we figured things out.

This hotel states that it has an indoor pool, however, it was under maintenence and construction during our stay. Also, the hotel states that it has air condition. The air conditioner was blowing air but not cold air. Our room stayed at a balmy 77 degrees f.

I will say, they did try to change our room but the air conditioner was not cool. It was a hotel wide issue. The manager understood and offered us free dinner buffet. He was very nice and professional. Ask questions directly to the hotel before booking. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. They judt need to grt the pool and air ip and running properly.

This was a brief layover for us between long haul flights. The hotel was perfect for a sleep and refresh before returning to the airport.
The hotel gym is one of the best I've ever used!

Worst hotel ... made a booking and have been trying to contact them with regards to the booking but there is no response from them. Even tried writing in Mandarin to them but still have not heard from them

Primus hotel has left us with wonderful memories, making us even more fond of the city of Shanghai.

Amazing hotel but staff (seemed to be very few people around!) could be far more customer orientated/ friendly. And more food options for Westerners please! Convenient free airport shuttle was on time but driver didn't offer any help with loading/ unloading luggage!
