Would not stay again
Pros:

Breakfast took 30 minutes to arrive despite very few people in. The coffee delivered (flat white) was cold on arrival. We were not told that there were no tomatoes available or offered any alternative. The bacon and hash browns were completely dried out, we were served one mushroom! Only the egg and beans were acceptable. I did inform the waiter my coffee was cold awaiting the breakfast. Our room was cold and the thermostat was difficult to operate. Our toilet was dirty on arrival. Walls were scuffed and dirty and the carpet was stained.

Cons:

Room should have been cleaner. Breakfast should have been fresh, not left under a hot plate to dry out. Toaster only toasts one side if the bread despite putting it through three times.

Poor quality of breakfast food
A number of niggles with keycard not working, which is not easy as a wheelchair user.
Mix up over room booking on arrival, causing significant stress. Our booking had been moved by a staff member from our requested accessible room to a standard room. As I am a wheelchair user, this was not suitable.
The manager did resolve this, after getting housekeeping to clean accessible room, which took about an hour.

The unmanned bedroom lodges are at the far side of car park, perhaps 100m from pub. Staff should be aware that this does cause more of a problem if in a wheelchair…eg you can’t just ‘pop’ to reception

We would definitely return great little place
Pros:

The place was lovely quick taxi ride into town centre, they did a 3 course meal deal when we arrived good choice & lovely food. The breakfast has a great continental choice alongside a cooked breakfast menu all good & plenty

Breakfast not that good .
Fan in loo on alnight had to take card out for electic. So it didn’t work .Then phone not charged.
No WiFi .
Bath panel not fixed.
Had to ask for Towels there policy. 2 loo rolls for 5 days . Certainly could do a bit better.

Ok of you want a pub with rooms next door
Pros:

Good location for our golf trip to the area.
Lots of parking and pub serving food all day.
Decent sized car park next to rooms with good sized bays.

Cons:

They had sold out of most of the menu on the night we arrived mid evening and wanted a meal. Also run out of some beers.
Breakfast choice limited and no self service coffee or tea, no muesli,/fruit/yoghurt.
