Good value for Lawrence
Pros:

The location and staff were great!

Cons:

It would be nice to see the wall mounted hand soap, lotion and shampoos/conditioners in the rooms. Also the bottle fill water station did not work which was a bit disappointing. Lastly, I know it’s a struggle to get and keep good help but the common areas i.e. hallways, areas in front of the elevators, lobby need a good sweep/mop and vacuum.

Pros:

The staff are friendly and the lobby is so well kept. The gym was clean and had good weights.

Cons:

I dropped something on the bathroom floor and when I picked it up there was lots of hair and dust under the sink. The shower head wasn't working too well and it was so high I couldn't adjust it. I could have called down for this.

Pros:

No complaints here
Pros:

We've been stuck here at this hotel over a week now, because of transmission problems. The good news is we couldn't have picked a better one. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, and great breakfast. Out of town a little, and I like that too .

Pros:

Conveniently located for us and the staff was friendly.

Cons:

They told us at the front desk that they are short on housekeeping staff and the rooms somewhat reflect that. I understand that hiring housekeeping staff is difficult at times.

Fabulous hotel with GREAT staff!
Pros:

Fabulous hotel in a GREAT location. Our room was wonderful, the lobby is a great place to gather, and the bar was a nice treat after a long day of driving. The STAFF was so welcoming and accommodating especially when we arrived so late. The little lobby store had some great food selections to heat in our microwave since we were starving having been delayed by construction and driving rain.

Cons:

After a quick meal, my daughter wanted to take a bath. The generous tub was perfect. But, we couldn't get the drain open when she was done. Twisting, turning, yanking didn't work. The woman from the front desk came and she couldn't get it open either. Problem; full tub meant I couldn't take a shower. We had to leave EARLY the next morning and just as I was rolling our last bag out to the car at 7 am maintenance arrived to help. Yay, but too late for us. I'm sure they figured it out for the next guest!

Great place- comfortable, clean, safe while offering thoughtful ammenities.
Pros:

Loved this place! Family friendly, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. It has a friendly casual vibe and the design has an open and airy feel. They have a lot of little extras and were very accommodating. Beds were comfortable, room was spacious and clean.
The outdoor area has seating areas surrounding two fire pits that we enjoyed and our stay was comfortable and relaxing. We stayed here after having a bad experience at another hotel and it saved what we thought had turned into a bad trip. Truly appreciative of a place that felt safe enough for us to be able to relax and enjoy it. We plan to stay there next time we are in the area and the rates are great in comparison to the other hotels in Lawrence that aren’t as nice and don’t have as many amenities. I was also impressed with breakfast because it had a much wider selection than any of the other places we’ve stayed and everything was being replenished as opposed to looking like it had been sitting. It appears to be a place that is well maintained and ran by a staff that cares about their guests.
