Pros:

An interesting boutique hotel. Decent service, appreciate the attempt at a European styled boutique hotel. Only issue for me is that the hotel needs a deep clean. It’s otherwise clean, but age is telling. That said, I enjoyed my stay and would honestly say I’d come back - even if just for the uniqueness of the concept.

I've stayed at Manuela's 4 times now on each trip to Lagos and it's become my home away from home. I love the place. It's quiet and understated yet has all you need- pool, gym, spa and best of all an authentic Italian restaurant that has great pizza and pasta dishes... the owner is Italian and eats there with his Italian mom every night... their high standards ensure the finest imported Italian ingredients and delicious, perfectly cooked food... as well as liquors (grappa!) and excellent homemade gelato. The service is all around always attentive and helpful. On my last trip internet service was better because there have been some issues in the past. It's a great value. Plus the location in VI is really perfect, close to a lot of markets and restaurants, and easy on and off the island. Highly recommended.

Pros:

Lovely gardens, clean and well maintained, home away from home, friendly staff, professionally run. Only problems are breakfast starts too late, 0730, and the only lounge is a smoking lounge so unhealthy for non-smokers. But such a lovely place overall so I'll be back.
